Foodie Review
Restoran Extra Super Tanker
If you are wondering why this eatery uses Extra Super Tanker as a name, it is because the owner finds it rather unique and easy people to remember. Just like the distinctive of the name, the customers, in addition, said that the food they are serving also unique in taste and hardly can be found in any other restaurants. Opened in July 2004, Extra Super Tanker is a Chinese restaurant in general but well known for it Seafood menu. They however, do serve family-type food preparation too. The head of chef, also the owner of the restaurant, always make sure that the food is prepared in its best. Therefore, most of the menu listed is required to be advanced in booking.
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10 for the food and environment. One thing about having a 6-8 course dinner at a Chinese restaurant is the consistency and speed of food being served. Never liked waiting too long nor fancy dishes coming out at once. This dinner was timed nicely with each dish being served 5-10 minutes apart. Overall, the food was very satisfactory. In fact, one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to.
Hokkaido Ichiba
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6.5/10 for the food, environment and service. All in all, the dishes was decent but slightly on the saltier side and the salmon portions was fresh but nothing to rave about. I was satisfied overall but it may take awhile for me to revisit.
Humble Beginnings’ Mille Crepes
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7.5/10 for the french vanilla and penutbutter blueberry Mille crêpe. In comparison with Vanilla Cakes, I would definitely prefer Humble Beginnings.

spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10. Besides the awesome Alfresco lounge area, customer service was satisfactory also. Food wise, it was just decent. Many have said that fusion cuisine should be rated one notch up because of its creativity. What do you think?
L Table @ Lavender Bakery
Pork Free but Serve Alcohol
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6.5/10. Can't say much about the food L Table but a definite thumbs up for Lavender Bakery. Upgraded slightly for the cosy environment and customer service but downgraded because of the overpriced menu, thus may not revisit anytime soon.
Watami
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7.5/10. The gozen sets are of great quality and quantity. It was huge and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to stomach-in more dessert towards the end.
Duck King Restaurant
This restaurant is located at Jaya One which is a new established commercial area with quite a lot or restaurant & cafe.
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10 for the signature roast duck and braised pork. The bill came up to about Rm90 per head, way overpriced for essentially a 6 course dinner, with exclusion of a vegetable and chicken dish in the set menu.
Festival City
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10 for the food and environment but downgraded slightly because of the location and miscommunication with the staff. All in all, the food was scrumptious and the vietnamese coffee was amazing. One of the best and authentic Vietnamese restaurant I've been to. I will definitely revisit.
Delicious Cafe
The relaxed cool atmosphere with wide selection of food which include light teatime snack, a local dish or breakfast set, etc
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7.5/10 for the desserts and the cosy atmosphere. The chocholate brownie is definitely one of my favorites.
The Hungry Hog
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10 for the 3 little pigs and prompt service. I would definitely return.
Jarrod & Rawlins
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10 for the food and environment. Enjoyed the dishes ordered overall and downgraded because it was way overpriced. In order of full breakfast set preference, I would still go with Antipodean, followed by The Red Bean Bag, then Buffalo Kitchen and last but not least, Jarrod & Rawlins.
Dragon-i
The restaurant is famous for its 'xiao long bao', noodles and other 'small eats' ('siu sek'). All of them look so adorable and deserves a thumbs up
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7.5/10 overall for the food, environment and most importantly, the camaraderie between all of us.
Tong Pak Fu
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10 for the D24 and Traka. Touted as one the best snow ice dessert places around town, Tong Pak Fu is centered in most major shopping malls. That said, I still favor the mango desserts in Honeymoon, will do a review on it soon.
Ah Cheng Laksa
Taste like Penang Laksa
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6.5/10 for the food and value for money. Food wise, it was pretty standard. Downgraded because of its limitation in terms of variety, with only 10 dishes available on it's menu, the dishes better be good.
Ben's
spicysharon posted spicysharon.blogspot.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10 for the food, environment, cleanliness and location. A definite must go. I can't deny that I'm a bit biased since this is one of my favorite casual dining restaurant.
