Foodie Review
Frontera Sol Of Mexico
The Frontera revolution and ongoing evolution began in June 2008 when a small group of fellow Mexican food aficionados opened Frontera Sol of Mexico (formerly known as Frontera Bar & Grill) @ the Palm Square, Jaya One in Petaling Jaya.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsThere was an awful lot of food – portions are big here – and we merrily lazed and grazed our way through, delighting in the breeze, the drinks, the strumming music, and the general air of endlessness that make sticky Sunday afternoons so charming.
Prego Restaurant
Good food and amazing drinks. A vast varieties of pizzas, pastas and risottos. And they are generous with the free-flowing spirits, frequently topping up drinks. A multi-level Ristorante Italiano with stone Terazza, with two-level dining outlet overlooks their 'open kitchen' that houses a wood fired pizza oven, pasta counter and rotisserei.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsAuthentic? Ask me again in two weeks….Italy here I come!
La Boca Latino Bar
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsJuices, smoothies, mocktails, beers, and Illy coffee are all worthy options, but the cocktails are the real thrill here.

Celestial Court
The award-winning Celestial Court restaurant is an ideal setting for celebratory banquets, corporate functions, fine appreciation of masterful cuisine or simply casual dining with family or friends.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsMy lunch at Celestial Court was a real eye opener to the true joy of dim sum when executed by a man willing to test the boundaries and enhance the traditional simplicity of this lunch-time tradition, and while the menu still keeps many dishes simple, the ones to head for are these intriguing and creative versions that will unlock new pleasures, both visually and edibly.
Simply Mel's
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsI feel that my lunch set didn't do Simply Mel's justice though...I have heard so many high praises but left with a sense of vague satisfaction rather than robust delight, so me thinks I need a return visit to give Mel and her brood the chance to wow me.
Paradise Dynasty
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsParadise Dynasty is a good addition to the list of places for a feel good family meal where the prices are wallet friendly and the tastes unexpectedly good.
Brotzeit Bier German Bier Bar & Restaurant
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsThe staff at Brotzeit were enthusiastic and beaming, the crowd thronging the long benches gave the place a good-natured buzz, and the food was straightforward, high quality fare that reminded me that our German cousins should have their moment of food glory, even in this country of cuisine extraordinaire.

Bijan Bar & Restaurant
Bijan opened its doors in September 2003 to offer a unique dining experience to discerning palates. The Bijan experience is modern in presentation yet wholesome in flavour. Traditional Malay cuisine is taken out of hawker stalls and buffet lines, and served against a lush backdrop. Modern in its surroundings with distinctive Asian accents, Bijan is warm, yet chic; intimate yet spacious.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsI left Bijan nearly 5 hours after I arrived and felt a warm glow – great food, great workshops, and lovely people; what a winning combination.
Songket Restaurant and Bar
Well hidden in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, it was previously resided by Euro Deli Grill. Songket has redecorated them in the style of Rumah Melayu; serving Authentic Malay cuisines, and having live cultural performance.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsSongket is known throughout the city as being a super place to take foreign visitors curious for a taste of local food in a colourful, comfortable environment, but it also attracts its fair share of local people who know that everything coming out from the kitchens is authentic and delicious, and truly Malaysian.
Botanical
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsSo you can see why I was entranced. Juice, beetroot, European chic, tea in a POT, and a conveyor belt of edibles that are healthy but tasty and satisfying and large. Give it a go, be pampered, and realise that meals without the meat can still be magical.
Milk And Butter
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsIt was all, as I had been warned, very ok. ... I hear the cakes are good, so perhaps go for one of those?
