Foodie Review - Latest
Hailam Kopitiam
Drinks, Food and Service are good.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalIn Malaysia, there seems to be an increasing variety of oriental cafes serving local and western cuisine which gives that old kopitiam vibe. Apart from the famous OldTown Cafe, SS2's Hailam Kopitiam is a great venue for a quiet chit chat which offers a huge variety in their menu list. It is a perfect place for supper too.
Crystal Jade Kitchen
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsOverall, a relaxed mood feeling as not many patrons visited here during tea time. It may not be over the top but it certainly was a great place to laze down and rest those shopping stressed legs.

This is introduced as many Malaysians came crawling down to Singapore to savour KungFu Bake Rice that derives from the "flaming hot babe" cheese-baked rice section of the KungFu Paradise menu.
Restaurant U-Village
Hong Kong restaurant owned by a Hongkie.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalMy family and I stumbled upon this great place, U Village HK Restaurant. Located just in between Sungei Wang & Low Yat, U Village serves Hong Kong style gourmet cuisines which is similiar to other Hong Kong cuisines restaurants, but I find that their dishes served are far more delicious and cheaper comparatively.
Ying Ker Lou
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalTea can refer to any of several different meals or mealtimes, depending on a country's customs and its history of drinking tea. Similiar to my previous posting on Chao Yen dim sum break, Ying Ker Lou also serves their 3 pm - 6 pm high tea Dim Sum break similiar to Chao Yen. The only difference here is Chao Yen serves Teochew style Dim Sum whereas Ying Ker Lou serves Hakka style Dim Sum.
Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert
This is a true recognition of the care and effort they put into making the dessert place a special place for guests to stay and dine. Step One : Choose Snowflake, Tohua or Memorable series. Step Two : Select a sub-series choice. For Snowflake series, select your Snowflake flavor. Grass Jelly series, Taro Ball series or Soya Ice series. Step Three : Pay up and receive UFO remote token (note : never place the token in your pants pocket!) Step Four : Choose either to wait for your order outside the shop or in one corner of the shop looking like a school kid punished for being late to class. Step Five : Your token vibrates. You can collect your order at the delivery counter.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalIf you ever been to Snowflake Desserts, it lets you indulge in natural and authentic Taiwanese desserts which is guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds. Personally, Snowflake had always been my favourite desserts gourmet compared to other branches as their servings are perfectly prepared with the right amount of sweetness.
許留山 Hui Lau Shan Healthy Dessert

Kedai Kopi Wah Cheong
This Coffee shop which has awesome Chicken Rice, Char Siew and Siew Yok. They also have the Vege Stew which was not bad.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsSuperbChicken rice has always been one of Malaysia's favourite choice whether it is lunch, dinner or even breakfast ! There are many great chicken rice stalls that can be found spawning around Klang Valley, and Wah Cheong's Chicken Rice in S17, PJ is no exception to that. Located around the corner shop nearby Caring Pharmacy and Hong Seng Restaurant, the chicken rice served here was really delicious and always been one of my favourite hotspots for lunch.
Jogoya
Japanese buffet at its most extravagant, with the freshest of seafood, tempura, sashimi and even cooked-on-demand fare brought straight to your table. At a reasonable buffet price the atmosphere is casual, relaxed and elegant. Great place indeed; nice dining area with a wide range of seafood spread available; everything from fish to scallop to oysters to clams to Sashimi to crabs and lobsters! Jogoya is a famous japanese buffet chain from Taiwan. Unlike the likes of Saisaki in UOA2, Jogoya is meant to be more high class.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalWhen it comes to buffet, many factors are taken into account, food quality & quantity, type of cusiine served, replenishing of food frequency, restaurant ambience, are a few factors that we usually think before heading off to. Jogoya Japanese Buffet Restaurant had been one my favourites as they serve a variety of Japanese, Oriental & Western cuisine in many forms.
KTZ
Highly recommended for desserts, their icy dessert has very fine textured ice.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalI finally get to try the original & first KTZ which branches along Klang Valley, famous for its Sai Mai Loh (ice blended) and sweet desserts. Located nearby Kepong, it is a small stall erected beside the road which serves the exact same quality as their other branches.

Jaya One Nando's was no exception to that as their service and dishes cooked are up to its standard. Prices are average as each of us pay Rm 25.
Umami Cafe
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalIf you are nearby Bandar Menjalara, Kepong, do try Umami Cafe which serves fusion gourmet of Japanese meets Chinese cooking. I find this Cafe quite interesting as it serves japanese food and coffee at the same time with a touch of modern edge and most importantly pork ! This place is very suitable for youngsters or teenagers to have a drink or host a small gathering in a warm and cozy ambience.

Oyster King
The next time if you are looking for street food when you are in The Gardens, you should definitely go to Oyster King. Yummy goodness, taste like those found in Penang, slightly sticky, wet, spicy, big juicy oyster, RM6, very good.
malaysiacuisine.com posted www.malaysiacuisine.com 127 ReviewsExceptionalWell, the price are definitively cheap compared to most food restaurants in a shopping mall. Set meals are available for around RM 12.00 - RM 14.00 which consists of drinks ( 3 choice) + soup + main dish. However portions were actually small, even with discount vouchers i added 2 side dishes and im still hungry.
