hAppYHapPy posted tailim.blogspot.com 740 ReviewsHeng Wah Noodle fried with prawns, meat and topping with fried eggs, dry sea weeds and ground nuts was fantastic. We enjoyed this first dish very much.
Low Yau Kee Porridge
Very fine porridge texture and has a sweetened taste. Fish porridge - the fish used are very fine sliced of raw fish which will be cook once you dip it or pour it in the “boiling” porridge. Pork intestine porridge - ask for additional minced pork balls or deep fry intestine! Chicken porridge - steamed chicken with oyster sauce (ask for more gravy so that u can mix it in the porridge) If possible, get a seat near to the stall as this can get you served earlier.
samantha sum posted tummyparadiseland.wordpress.com 35 ReviewsExceptionalLoa Yau Kee Porridge. Only operate at night. Morning the stall will be selling famus beef noodle. I like their white porridge very much. Its tasty and smooth. Plus their serve the ingredient separately. If you ask for fish porridge, you will get 1 plate of raw fish slices. The best part is cheap. RM5~6 only
Restaurant Bao Bao 你吃宝宝了吗?
This restaurant is owned by and runs by a group of talented young people.
harrycath posted www.harrycath.com 20 ReviewsExceptionalWe came across this restaurant which Cat says (oddly enough) means “have you eaten at Bao Bao yet?” or something to that effect in Mandarin. Being an end lot, the restaurant has no wall on one side providing excellent ventilation. A lot of the times we demur from a few restaurants that were stifling and stuffy. With furnishings with wooden chairs and tables, you get an almost “school canteen” feel about the place. While we had no issues with the taste of the dishes we were eventually served with, we had problems with the blatant misrepresentation. What was touted as Fried Pork with Nan Lu Pan Mee in the end turned out to be normal Pan Mee with Barbequed Pork Belly (“Char Siu”), with no hint of fermented bean curd at all! Oh well, since it is a small unassuming and nondescript restaurant, we will take no further offence.
Xan Ling Bak Kut Teh
mimid3vils posted www.choiyen.com 419 ReviewsThere are some dishes I would like to come back for like Rice with Preserved Vegetable, Deep Fried Bean Curd and of course the “Sang Guat” Porridge. I’ll definitely make sure that an advance ordering is made before I come!
Face to Face Noodle House (面对面板面专卖店)
Face to Face Noodle House is specialised in noodles especially pan mee. If you're not interested in pan mee, you could also check out their Sarawak noodles. They now offer a wider range of food and beverages in their menu. Service was rather fast and speedy in this outlet. This restaurant is not charge for government tax and service charge.

Kedai Makanan & Minuman Soon Lei

Jalan Ipoh Pan Mee Stall
One of the better Pan Mee out there, the noodle is not too thin, and the soup is nice (boiled with anchovies/ikan bilis). The food taste good, but the environment may not be so, as this hawker stall is just next to main road.
