sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsReasonably priced and the food is pretty good too. Won’t mind coming back if we are shopping in 1st Avenue again.
Maa Roy Thai Food Authentic Thai Cuisine
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsAbsolutely delicious and reasonable dining experience. There were just less than 3 tables throughout the entire nite. Hopefully their business can sustain to wait for my return. Will come back for more!
Roti Canai Transfer Road
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsHonestly, I don’t find it exceptionally special with the food they offer. Let’s hope all of us are well after this “lovely” meal! We are keeping our fingers crossed!
OCEAN Batu Maung Seafood Restaurant 巴都茅海鲜村
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsService is commendable though. I would definitely return the next time I visit Penang to taste the Cheese Baked Oyster which totally slipped of my mind!
The Forum Chinese Cuisine
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsGood work and won’t mind to drop by for some nice dim sum again in this comfy environment restaurant.
Xuan Xin Restaurant
Xuan Xin Restaurant which newly established its self in the prime location at Gurney Plaza’s New Wing.

Restoran 8 Road (新世界8路海鲜冷气饭店)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsTypical Chinese restaurant setup as seen but clean with fully tiled flooring and air-conditioned.
Restaurant Fatty Bak Kut Teh & Fish Head
Restaurant which is just beside Old Klang Road. They cook the bak kut teh outside of the restaurant. The soup is superb!
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsTotaled at RM 30.00 with a pot of Chinese Tie Kuan Yin (铁观音) tea which is considerably reasonable but I would not come back for more BKT here. The next visit would be either on the steamed or curry fish head. Hope that won’t disappoint! Till then…
Wang Wang Nine Restaurant
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsTotaled at RM 94.70 complete with 7 plain white rice (RM 7.70) and a pot of Chinese Jasmine tea for 4 (RM 3.00). Very reasonable I must say. Will come back but hopefully they can add more dishes to their menu. This restaurant serves mainly steamed fish head at the moment with only a handful of other dishes to select from.
Lap Ming Kuan Seafood Restaurant (立明坤海鮮铺)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsLMK has a simple and comfy setup which is good for a family gathering or perhaps hosting some friends. “Might” return to savour other dishes if I’m around the neighborhood.
Plus One Shabu Shabu
You would be given a personal pot to enjoy the steamboat so it's really hygiene. Besides that, for those of you who are already bored with the normal kind of steamboat soup, you can now choose not only the Plain Soup and Tom Yam but they offer varieties of Soup based like Sichuan, Corriander & Preserved Egg, Chew Chow, Fish, Tomato and Beef & Tomato Soup.
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsEveryone was full after finishing everything on the table. Haven’t had so much for lunch in a long while! Totaled at RM 147.95 inclusive of a 10% service charge (RM 5.00 for 5 plates of homemade sauce). A good shabu lunch experience and had a great time doing some catching up.
Yuan Seafood Restaurant (花苑海鲜饭店)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsOverall, we were very satisfied and would recommend this restaurant as the food is good, reasonably priced (RM 76.12 inclusive of 5% service charge) and very attentive service.
Restoran Chi Hou Dian (吃好点) Dim Sum Yum Cha
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsWouldn’t say it’s cheap but definitely affordable and worth paying the extras for the ambiance and the good dim sums! We’ll come back for more!!
Cristang Restaurant
Cristang comes with a list of pork burgers from P1 to P6. With each level up, there are more ingredients and the prices goes up. A distinct ingredient towards the top is petai.
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsOverall, the food is rather salty for us. Will come back, but to try the Portuguese dishes instead!
Sushi Tei
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsIt’s affordable for a Japanese meal. Well, we’ve tried it and honestly, we still prefer Sushi Zanmai. Sayonara!
