Chuan Kee Hakka Restaurant (泉記客家釀豆腐)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsApart from the braised pork with yam and the bruised fish, every other dish was commendable and this place definitely warrants a return! Come early, especially during weekends and lunches to avoid the heavy crowd and for a RM 2.00 fee you can have your car parked safely at an open parking ground further down the road.
Hot Pot Bone Essence 有骨气
No.41, Jln Kuchai Maju 7, Off Jln Kuchai Lama, 58200 Kuala Lumpur
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsOverall “steaming” experience wasn’t that bad but the price is on the high side. Nevertheless, it’s always nice to enjoy a good pot of hot steamboat, especially during those rainy nights like tonight!
Restoran L.F.F. Bak Kut Teh
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsLady boss is courteous and always ready with a smile that is welcoming and the food is acceptable. Will come back for their signature BKT and other dishes too!
Sushi Village
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsReasonably priced overall except for the Una Don. Wouldn’t mind coming back again to sample others with wifey and hopefully I can get some better salmon sashimi the next time!
Padi House Sri Petaling
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsPadi House is basically a Fusion restaurant that serves some local fare in halal style.
Nippy Noodles Restaurant
All the noodles are freshly made daily and there are no left overs. The noodles are made from premium flours and Omega 3 eggs without addition of any liquid or water. No preservatives or food conditioner added so therefore it is a very healthynoodle. The noodles are very springy feeling when you put into your mouth. Combine with the pickled chili, it is a heaven. The mee actually is called Wan Tan Mee by its normal look. Thisrestaurant called it Bamboo Noodles as it is made by using bamboo. Usually they serve you the noodle without the pork lard. Go ahead and ask for it and definitely it will make you fly after eating together with the noodle. The pork lard fried fresh daily too.
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsGood place for a springy and tasty bowl of “Jook Sing Mien” but parking is a hassle, especially during lunch hour! Will definitely return for other flavors!
Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsNevertheless, it’s worth the wait and parking is ample. A good place to have good and tasty sates!
Mei Mei Fish Head Noodle & Pan Mee
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsAs usual, the usage of MSG is minimal or close to none as I did not feel any thirst afterwards. Worth trying if you are around the vicinity!

sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsA truly enjoyable and nice meal to savour with family members and friends alike during this festive season!
Garden View Restaurant (枫林品鮮馆)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsA reasonably priced meal at only RM 66.00 inclusive of 2 apple juice (RM 8.00), a chrysantemum tea (RM 1.50) and 2 plain white rice (RM 2.00). They do have many other choices to sample from and will come back to try it out on my next visit!
Restoran Chuan Kie
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsThis meal came to RM 59.40 inclusive of 2 steamed plain white rice (RM 2.40). No service and government tax. I agree that the price is very reasonable but the meal was a real let down! So much of celebrities choice!
Ah Seng Bak Kut Teh (啊星肉骨茶)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsSoup is so savoury but not thick, unlike the typical Klang version. No sign of thirst after finishing every drop of it. Good! An 8/10! An additional RM 1.50 per pax if you require mushrooms/needle mushrooms to be added.
Khunthai Restaurant
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsService was good and courteous from most of the Thai workers. Apart from this outlet, they have 2 other outlets in Kepong and Bukit Mertajam respectively.
Room Eighteen
Room Eighteen is a new restaurant in Mid Valley Megamall, under Tai Thong Group, few shops away from Delicious/Starbucks on ground floor.
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsThis outlet should pay more attention to its bbq items as this are one of their specialties. Service without a smile except the lady manager is another thing they should seriously look into. Wouldn’t mind giving this place a miss though, “IF” I have other choices of restaurant to choose from.
Ah Heng Steamed Cup Rice (亚恒烧腊蒸饭)
sumptuous.blog posted sumptuousblog.wordpress.com 169 ReviewsWell, If you happen to stop by Bukit Mertajam (大山腳), you might want to come by this clean, cozy and laid back coffee shop for a good plate of chicken rice or the famous BM rojak.
