All in all, I had a good dose of French cuisine and figured I can do without some fat liver for awhile. Highly recommended for first timers nonetheless. Bon appétit!

I rated Brotzeit slightly higher than Bavarian Bierhaus simply because the latter's pork skin did not have enough 'crackle' to it and the pork was not as juicy as that of the former. I would definitely return.

Apart from that, the desserts I had was markedly decent but for the price I paid for, I figured this will probably be a been-here-had-that kinda thing.

It was an enjoyable experience for a shot of the 8 unique flavors of xiao long pau, though I have to admit that for the price I paid for, I don't find it particularly value for money. I was not utterly impressed as well and found it a tad overrated actually. Good for first timers but I doubt I will return for a seconds.

SS20 Fish Head Noodle

Food wise, I think the soup base was a huge disappointment coupled with the fact that the fish was full of bones. Compared with Win Soon Cafe, SS2 which I wrote a review on some time back, I would definitely prefer the latter. This is definitely not the best fishhead noodle in town as acclaimed by many. I will not revisit SS20 Fish Head Noodle anytime soon.

I would highly recommend the special yam abacus, stuffed dried oysters and the village style steam fish. Service wise, I was quite satisfied with the customer service and the timing of the dishes served though I must note that the dishes did not come in order according to the menu listed.

If you are wondering why this eatery uses Extra Super Tanker as a name, it is because the owner finds it rather unique and easy people to remember. Just like the distinctive of the name, the customers, in addition, said that the food they are serving also unique in taste and hardly can be found in any other restaurants. Opened in July 2004, Extra Super Tanker is a Chinese restaurant in general but well known for it Seafood menu. They however, do serve family-type food preparation too. The head of chef, also the owner of the restaurant, always make sure that the food is prepared in its best. Therefore, most of the menu listed is required to be advanced in booking.

One thing about having a 6-8 course dinner at a Chinese restaurant is the consistency and speed of food being served. Never liked waiting too long nor fancy dishes coming out at once. This dinner was timed nicely with each dish being served 5-10 minutes apart. Overall, the food was very satisfactory. In fact, one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to.
