I like the place being quiet and unpretentious, as well as the affordable Japanese dishes. Sumida Japanese Restaurant is right beside Brix and Baume Bakery (previously known as Ritz Bakery).

Overall, this restaurant can be very good but they have lack of choices after their salmon has sold out. The price is a little too high for a common restaurant like this.
