Pink Elephant Ice Cream
虽说这已经不是第一家出现在槟城的炒冰淇淋公司,但Pink Elephant的甜品,较倾于泰式炒冰淇淋和泰式奶茶。

Price-wise, I'd say affordable and service was great.

TGI Friday's
Service was great here with their bubbly friendly staffs. Food was good and ambience? Felt like it was overseas - the restaurant deco resembles what's being done in the USA. I think it's worth the price being paid for!
For pasta lover, go for their Garlic Spaghetti Vegetali (Rm 19.90) in which the beautifully cooked al-dente spaghetti will be tossed together with a few types of Vegetables.

Coco Ichibanya
总结来说,咖喱饭的味道算是浓郁的,不过没到让人惊艳的地步。

Nippon Yataimura Japanese Restaurant
Spicy Tonkotsu Hanchan Set RM21, it came with smaller bowl of Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Garlic Fried Rice, Gyoza and Salad. Honestly I found this set to be very reasonable and portion is big enough for an adult.

Canton-i Restaurant 香港粥麵家
Needless to say, the place is very neatly arranged and hygienic, with the waitress very attentive to your every need.
那边的服务周到,比如服务生会注意你需不需要添水(比如你有order茶水)。

Paddington House of Pancakes
SuperbPancake: I thought zucchini is raw veggies that goes well with sandwich. I rarely see dishes prepared with cooked zucchini, not to mention pancakes. (ok, the savoury pancake is already a great shock ). One side of the pancake was bake to crust while the other side remain soft and cloudy.... The zucchini was not overcook. The veggies remain it's moist with tender juicy filling. Onion sauce: Consuming the plain zucchini pancake is already a bless, but when both the pancake and onion sauce WOW! Exquisite! The oily saute do not moist the crunchy grill like layer of the pancake, but give an extra smoothing texture to the pancake. Need not to explain, the slightly salty sauce is the origin of the savoury taste for the pancake. Salmon: One of the best, or probably the best salmon I ever taste in my life! The fillet was not marinated, but it is reasonably fresh (of course you can't compare the freshness with a freshly slaughted Salmon sashimi~). It was also not over cook or still raw (I had some bad experience of raw and non fresh grill Salmon before -___-), very juicy, slightly oily with a crusty outer layer+skin, *muack* just the way I like my Salmon to be ^ ^ Mash Potato: No surprise in the mash potatoes. I think more milk can be add to enhance it texture and flavour. No comment on the mashed pea and sour cream topping, just decent I would say. Overall: 9.5/10 (A very new concept of specialty restaurant that focus on pancake. Rare, fun, excited, good experience) Taste bud indulgence: 10/10 (PHOP really amazed me, I like the surprises and unexpected taste bud experience, would like to come back to try more ^ ^) Purse saver: 8/10 (I know specialty restaurant will rank at higher price, but out of Asia, pancakes are just some normal daily meal, part of their life! Don't you think we deserve to charge lesser? Although geography constrain the receipt to be norm in Malaysia, but pancakes flour is very cheap in Malaysia! *>.<* ) Atmosphere: 9/10 (Warm with a classy touch, good place to hang out. The dim ligh in the shop is more romantic than the tables located outside) read more

Taiwan Courtyard 小台阁
I must say that the Sweet & Sour pork was heavenly in taste but I do wish there’s more pork than vegetables.

The Manhattan Fish Market
Famous of Seafood.
BadIt's been awhile since I dined at Manhattan Fish Market. Now I feel this franchise was nice when it came out years ago, but in recent times after having a meal there, I remind myself over and over again not to do it so often. I did not really like the after taste, probably due to the oil... and method of deep frying the seafood that Manhattan uses that I can't get used to. read more

Food Court Queensbay Mall, Penang
Queensbay Mall as usual like other big malls is having big makan makan place.. de food court.. where u can find many local delicious food.
The pastry skin on the chicken pie was quite thick. I still prefer the pie from Pie Harbour @ Gurney Paragon as it is more flavourful.

The Grass
The Grass still serves fresh Grass Jelly using the traditional ways. Herbs will be boiled for more than 8 hours to fully extract the essence of the Herbs but it has more than that to offer (Grass Jelly), the menu covers an extensive list which includes beverage.

Sakae Sushi
Good. A great variety.
BadIt gives me no choice but need to write a very bad comment on this queensbay branch. First of all the services of waitresses are a real disappoinment which is not suppose to be place at serving customer. Please look into this seriously which in long term will definitely affect your busin...ess. Also the queing up rules and regulation should be followed. How can the cashier just let others just to jump que in front of those who has patiently queing to pay and serve the undicipline cuotomer to pay instead of others behind queing pariently. It is a real shame and i will definitely not recommend others to patron here again. Actually this is a 2nd time occurring to me which i thought of giving a second chance but instead a real real dissapoinment which i discovered the services instead of improving but is even worse. A dissapointed supporter of Sakae.... read more
