OW:L Espresso Cafe @ SS15, Subang Jaya
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIn general, the prices here are quite standard, reasonable for its generous portion of serving which you could easily share with a friend or two.
Tonkatsu by Ma Maison
Tonkatsu, a Japanese food which consists of a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet and normally served with shredded cabbage.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsSo based on the prices here, a meal for two should not cost you more than RM50 for two – that’s more than a fair price to pay considering it’s Publika, and you’re having a Japanese meal.
JENERIS by Ahren
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsWhat really caught my attention was the Yin-Yong Cafe Latte, which I found more unique than the rest.
Magnum Cafe
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsThe staff is still new so do expect a lot of hiccups. We got food mistakenly delivered to us three times, and it took them about 15 minutes just to clear our bill.
Warung Leko
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsBetter stick to the tried and tested Waroeng Penyet that has similar offerings at lower prices.
Restoran Gembira
All the noodles are fresh made daily.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIt was delicious alright but speaking from experience, I can’t really label this Kolo Mee as authentic.
Restoran Double One 双壹茶室
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsThe unique one of a kind aroma from the stir-fried egg is present as well, I immediately felt I was back in Penang, even just for a brief moment.
Restoran Yong Len 永年茶餐室
This kopitiam has started their business for more than 25 years and the stall owners have much or less remained the same.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll in all, worth a shot if you happen to drop by in the area with some time to spare for a grub because it won’t be a quick one.
Penang Corner (street view location)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, the authenticity of taste is there and what matters most, else I wouldn’t have returned.
Ichiro Sushi Bar
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsFood standard and service are still well maintained which delights me.
BBQ K Korean Buffet
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsGood food with friendly service coupled with eat all you can at a reasonable price make BBQ-K a must visit for those who love Korean barbecue
Bangsar Fish Head Corner
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall experience could have been better and more price worthy if we omitted the fish head curry. Worth a visit just for the fried chicken alone.
Kedai Kopi Five Five Five
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 Reviewseverything about their noodle from the thick and flavorful gravy to the spicy chili paste to the crunchy prawn fritters taste wonderful with the unmistakenbly Penang taste.
Ju.Ne Japanese Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsI don’t think I could pass a fair judgement based on this meal alone because we did not fully explore the entire menu. But sad to say even though we were happy with the quality of most of the food, their small portions give an indication that it’d be the same for the other dishes – which are even more highly priced. And that alone does not justify a repeat visit from us.
Top Kitchen Penang Char Koay Teow, Fried Rice
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsThey are not as awesome as the CKT but still good nonetheless, so you could satisfy a few cravings at one go.
