Foodie Review - Latest
Brolly
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsThere are two restaurant concepts that I did not mention and they are Raksaksa Mirai (Japanese rice bowl dishes, not open for dinner) and Bang Bang Baller Bar, which is the red van parked outside that is responsible for all the beverages served at Brolly.
Hana Sake Bar & Dining
Superbly delicious dishes and the sake bar I would like to return to.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, our lunch at Hana was a pleasant one considering nothing we had was bad and some dishes even surpassed my expectations by far.
Suraya Nasi Kukus (Suraya 2)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsSo far, we have yet to be disappointed by any meals we had and Kampung Baru and we look forward to try the other restaurants in the area. I have already earmarked a few to visit and can’t wait to return.
Huan Kee Food Stall (焕记小食档)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIn total, this meal of 5 dishes, 3 drinks and 2 rice came to RM69.50. It might seem expensive for two person but if you look at the amount of food we had, it could easily be shared among four and even five. It’s just so happen that we were in a mood to eat and decided to order more than usual. No regrets at all!
Cowboys Food Truck
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, our dinner with Cowboys Food Truck was a better than expected experience and we were pleased with everything we had especially their signature chicken wings.
Portofino Italian Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsMost of their main dishes such as pasta, risotto and pizza are priced between RM20 and RM40 with the exception of meat and seafood that understandably cost more, but still a very fair price to pay considering the restaurant’s setting and location.
Tanoshii Dezato (Taiyaki)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, Tanoshii Dezato’s taiyaki is not only visually appetizing but delectable as well, although I have to admit the prices are slightly higher than what we hoped for.
Manmaru Robatayaki & Bar
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsEverything being said, I would recommend Manmaru as one of the Japanese restaurants you have to check out because their food quality speaks for itself.
Piggy Tail
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll in all, the food at Piggy Tail isn’t entirely bad but the quality is far from remarkable especially with the kind of prices they are charging.
Restaurant Rosdet Tomyam
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsDespite having a not-so-fresh dish, the overall experience was good and we can’t help but feel impressed by the level of service we got.
Pretz n’ Beanz
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsCoffees are reasonably priced and on par with all the other cafes in the same vicinity. They do however, offer a few interesting choices such as the Coco Latte and Chocolate Cookie Latte.
TokuToku Japanese Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, we were pleased with our first visit here and we will surely return again.
Podgy & the Banker
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsUnless they buck up their food quality, I’d advise against having a meal here. For a drink, maybe.
Hong Hong Village Food House
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOtherwise, I think you might want to stick to the normal ‘dai chao’ that serves the more familiar dishes.
Aoki-Tei Japanese Buffet Restaurant (青木亭放题)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIf you are a beer lover then there’s more reasons to eat here because as I mentioned earlier: free flow of Tiger beer and Sake! I think this alone is convincing enough for some to come.
