Hoi Peng Seafood Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsPrice wise it’s above average for its portion but at least they taste good. If you plan to dine here in the weekends, reservation is highly recommended or you might end up being seated along the five foot ways.
Freshy Freeze
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll things considered, Freshy Freeze offers great tasting ice creams and desserts that are fun to watch being made. The only downsides I’d say are the waiting time (about 5 minutes for each order, they don’t scoop them out of a line of pre-made ice creams) and the above average prices.
Burger Bakar Abang Burn
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIf you compare the fried chicken patty you see now with the one I had last month, you will there’s a huge difference in the colour. The one we had last time was golden brown while this one was dark brown – the texture is dryer and chewier too.
Jikasei Ramen
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll in all, as far as ramen is concerned, Jikasei Ramen is an ideal place for a meal when all you want is a proper, hearty and affordable bowl of noodle soup.
Buns Burger Bar
Serves burgers, creative appetisers, dessert and craft beer.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsEnvironment wise, the burger bar is brick and wooden themed with plenty of natural light flowing in from the windows. We felt very comfortable throughout the meal and didn’t mind sticking around for a bit longer after finishing our food and drinks.
Yellow Thai Food Truck
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsEven for a small truck such as this, there are four staff working on it including the owner (donning the blue t-shirt) herself. Only two tables are available and the seats are very limited. So most of the customers take away their orders.
Fahrenheit 600
Imagine a hand crafted dough topped with genuine Italian tomato sauce and home made fresh mozzarella cheese snaps from a wood-fired, stone oven. We call it pizza. It has a rustic, old-world texture, and the distinct taste of locally grown, freshly prepared ingredients.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsFor RM19.90 you get an entrée, a drink and a dessert which is a truly good deal considering the location.
The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsThe Majestic Festive Banquet dinner will feature more than a hundred classic Malay recipes from around Malaysia including the popular perennial favourites such as Kambing Panggang, Satay Kampung, Ikan Bakar, Pajeri Kedondong and a local Aneka Goreng live station.
Cafe 9
Cafe 9 brings you a cozy environment with the friendly staff.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIf you are craving for Thai food and don’t want to spend too much for a satisfying meal, Cafe 9 really fits the bill.
Relish
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsWith a seating capacity of 166, guests can choose to enjoy their meal at high tables or a sit down dinner at the long wooden table that seat 24 person.
Ichiban - The Izakaya
Ichiban - The Izakaya aims to embody the true Japanese restaurant and bar scene and culture in Malaysia, and is expected to elevate and transform the offering of Japanese cuisine in Malaysia. Perennial Japanese favourites such as sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki, the popular Japanese skewer - yakitori, street and bar food staple – agemono, as well as grilled and pan-fried dishes - yakimono will be part of Ichiban - The Izakaya's offerings. At Ichiban - The Izakaya, you can revel in the quality, authenticity and flavour of its menu items.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAmong a handful things that we tried, the Aburi Sushi, Seafood Teppanyaki and the Japanese pork belly were great, while the rest such as Godzilla Roll and Cheese Baked King Prawn were OK and met expectations. The Gyoza was forgettable, though.
CaliBurger
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsNevertheless, the dining environment is clean, bright and cheerful and the service is good and efficient.
Fisherman's Cove
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIn total, the bill cost us RM221 but because there’s a 15% OffPeak discount, we only needed to pay RM187.85. That savings of almost RM30 is definitely worth the 3 minutes time I used to make a booking with OffPeak.
Michaelangelo’s Italian Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll in all, Michaelangelo’s might not be as fancy as the other new restaurants in town but the food’s good (based on what we had) and the prices are reasonable enough for repeated visits.
IEYASU Tsukemen & Izakaya
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, despite some minor issues we left happy and satisfied thanks to the delicious Tsukemen we had.
