Restoran Nyonya Makko
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.myExceptionalRestoran Nyonya Makko serves really good nyonya food. I know there are many others out there but I managed to try this one first! Actually, I noticed every table the orders taken are almost similar. It's like these are the main few recommendations for every tourists that walks in. Hence the taking order part was fast and swift, the serving was pretty quick and served together. It's like they know what we're going to order already. My total bill came up to RM161.75 for 4 pax. Okay~lah for the portion and the meals were almost satisfying except for the fish dish... I should've have tried "Assam Fish" instead! Btw, I can't stand spicy meals, but the dishes here weren't so spicy. It was just right for me. For spicy lovers (like my mom & my hubby) it was more flavorful then spicy to them lolx...
Jonker Street Poh Piah Stall
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.myExceptionalToday, let me tell you about "Poh Piah Lwee" located just along the shoplots (on the right) before turning in to Jonker Walk. The poh piah, RM3, here is really yummy! The jicama is nicely marinated and boiled in a way that it is not too dry, not too sweet and best of all it's just right! Crunchy, fresh, sweet and mix really well with all the other ingredients in the poh piah. What I love most about Malacca poh piah is that you can actually find fried pork lard oil inside! The one I tried at Bunga Raya was very wet and oily, they were really generous on the pork lard oil and sauce but it was abit overwhelming. At Poh Piah Lwee, the amount is just right, just perfect!
Chung Wah Restaurant (中华茶室)
Chung Wah is another famous Hainan Chicken Rice shop located at the start of Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat) in Melaka town. Hoe Kee is famous for their Hainan Chicken while Chung Wah is well known for their chicken rice balls.
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.myExceptionalHainanese Chicken Rice has always been super awesome at delivering the best chicken rice dishes! And everytime someone mentions hainanese chicken rice, I immediately remember the one and only chicken rice that I love so much from Malacca.Kedai Kopi Chop Chung Wah, almost everyday also got Q without fail. Reason being, their chicken rice ball(s) and their chicken is delicious!!
Kedai Makanan dan Minuman Hock Chin
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.myExceptionalAt Kedai Makanan Dan Minuman Hock Chin, the experience is that of an ordinary hawker restaurant where you get to sit inside or outside at the roadside (with similar table and stools, in terms of height). What's special here is the "Tauhu Bakar" dish! As you can see the fresh fish ball(s) and bean curd sheet(s) grilled over the open grill at the side of the stall.
Sun May Hiong Satay House 新味香沙爹屋
For those who have great passion in pork liver and pork intestine (satay style), this is the stall that you can't miss! The specialty of this satay stall is its peanut sauce and mix with some pineapple and in turn create a sour n spicy taste! At this stall, you dont have to order how many stick you want as they will keep on "refilling".
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.myExceptionalEverytime without fail, I must have my quick fix of "Pork Satay" whenever I'm in Malacca! Sun May Hiong Satay House @ Malacca! My 2nd favourite place to be. 1st is Restaurant Xiang Ji (because near Jonker Street).
Bee Bee Hiong Restaurant
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.myExceptionalThe best fish ball/fish paste yong tau foo ever!! 40 years of strong presence! This is worth the visit! They have another outlet, managed by the 2nd generation of the Goh family. The texture of the homemade fish paste in the Yong Tau Foo is really chewy and "crunchy", best of all is the flavour!

sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbThe latest addition at The Main Place USJ 21. The interior design is quite interesting, the seating area beautifully decorated like you're at sea. The graffiti art on the wall and the food is really good here too. Fresh seafood, especially the fish! I ordered the "Baked Salmon with Citrus Crust" (RM 27.95) & completed my Salmon dish into a meal by adding RM8.95 for a drink & soup. We then decided after that to add on another ala-carte meal "The Best Fish & Chips in Town" (RM 16.95).
Am Sande Cafe
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsGoodA German western cuisine shop. We came here for a quick dinner and they had a set meal promotion available. My hubby ordered the Roasted Half Chicken set meal promotion (RM 19.98) comes with a Spezi & Soup of the day. I ordered the Meat Loaf (RM 16.90) ala carte.
Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbPenang Road Famous "Teo Chew Chendul" @ Main Place USJ 21. They finally opened a branch here in Subang Jaya. Been hearing about this place but never had the chance to try it out. "Original Chendul" has quite a generous amount of red beans and the green pandan jelly.
Johnny Rockets
Johnny Rockets is an international restaurant chain that offers the food, fun and friendliness of classic, timeless, feel-good Americana. Johnny Rockets serves simple, great-tasting food from a menu of all-American favorites, including juicy burgers, classic sandwiches and hand-dipped shakes and malts! It's the place to go for friendly service, flavorful food, uplifting music and relaxed, casual fun. Not confined to any era, Johnny Rockets combines the best elements from a century of American dining history to create an experience and menu that are relevant today...and will be, for decades to come. We do not have halal cert in the restaurant because we have a bar that serves alcohol. However, all our food is halal since we purchase our meat and poultry from local suppliers that have gotten JAKIM Halal Certification.
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbThe original hamburgers! Lovely american fast food joint that serves generously in portion size and worth every single bite. Great place for family & friends. Lotsa varieties and definitely has the coolest entertainment in-house.
Little Fat Duck
Food-truck style, Walk-ins welcome,Good for children,Takeaway,Catering
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbWe spotted this "Little Fat Duck" food-truck right at the carpark opposite of Public Bank (near RT Cafe/RT Pastry) and was intrigued by the idea. I've only seen it on International TV but never seen it nor tried it in Malaysia. I'm talking about "western/italian" food on a food-truck not the common known Ramly burger trucks, nasi lemak trucks or soya bean trucks etc.
Tai Lei Loi Kei 大利来记
sebrinah.yeo posted sweet-blessingz.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsGoodGood food from Macau. Now available in Malaysia. Pork Burger has been a famous snack to queue for in Macau. However, the lady boss opened branches over here in Malaysia. Taipan USJ 10 (same row as Old Town Kopitiam/Subway/Lorong Seratus Tahun), their branch here is quite "quiet" compared to the ones in Damansara. No queue and sometimes there's no one. Probably cause not many ppl are aware of this place??
