Foodie Review - Latest
Serena Brasserie
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsSerena Brasserie gets the balance of dishes right, and while not an overwhelming choice, there is certainly everything hungry fasters will want to see (and eat)!
U Restaurant
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsPudding was predictable; Green Tea Ice Cream with Red Bean, but it is still my favourite order on a Japanese dessert menu.
Croisette Cafe Bistro & Pastry Corner
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsCroisette is a real little find, and if you can deal with not being frozen frigid during your dinner (fresh air! A breeze! It was a delight) and fancy a fine French meal the way it should be, for a lower price tag and easier parking than most places in Bangsar, then do not miss it.
Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsNot only was the food and ambiance of both places enjoyable and welcoming, I thought the menus offered great value for money, and a group could go and order ‘tapas-style’ from either for a lovely dinner, washed down with a glass of bubbly of course!
Midi 57 Restaurant & Bar
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsMidi 57 is a strong competitor on this lucrative stretch of restaurant landscape, and the charming, cosy environment is matched by the tasty yet wholesome food.
Essence
The modern and vibrant ambience of Essence is a burst of fresh energy which promises to invigorate all dining experiences – from casual meals and friendly get-together to business meals and gourmand explorations.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsThe buffet runs at dinner time only from 23 July to 17 August, and is priced at RM108++ per person, which seems entirely reasonable for such an impressive choice of food.
Marmalade Cafe
I'll give it a 3***rating. Ambiance wise a 4***. Good place to recommend for a meet up with friends as you can sit and chat comfortably.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsIt wasn’t bad, but not good enough to redeem Marmalade, and certainly nothing close to the salads of Citrus, Delicious, Plan B nor, more indeed, the salads that I make at home.
Pavilions Lounge
Description: Cozy as it is, Pavilions Lounge is an ideal venue for get-togethers to enjoy an afternoon tea delight. As the lights dim, creating a sensual yet cozy ambience, eyes float above the bar to the lobby’s dramatic centerpiece.
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsPavilion Lounge is just up from the lobby at the Sheraton, and a range of comfy but grand armchairs and sofas fill a large, tall, bright space where you can indulge in privacy and comfort.
Dancing Fish
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsA comfortable environment, a wide menu, and a food made with passion: Dancing Fish is a real winner.
Twenty One Tables and Terrace
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsIt is a super spot for some after work drinks (happy hour runs from 5pm-8pm daily), but the food is a force to be reckoned with too.
Five Senses
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsFive Sen5es is a fabulous choice for a lunchtime spread.
Serena Brasserie

Commonwealth House
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsIt was relaxing and relaxed, with easy food and decent service, and for a quiet Sunday lunch it hit the spot just fine.
Malones Irish Restaurant & Bar
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsDespite being fresh on the scene, this tidy, green-painted restaurant/bar seemed like it had been nestled in Jaya One for years. The arm chairs, dark wood tables and deep purple and green decor gave the place a homely, welcoming feel that soothed my mood.
A Li Yaa Island Restaurant and Bar
ALiYaa means ‘elephant’ in Singhalese and also synonymous with a restaurant that serve authentic Sri Lankan cuisine nestled at Bukit Damansara .
YouHadYourLunch posted youhadyourlunch.blogspot.com 208 ReviewsThe place feels cosy and homely, while the plain black, white, and concrete theme is modern and stylish, and a touch of lightness added by the various vivid drawings of elephants that adorn the walls and nods to the fact that the restaurant name translates as elephant.
