Serai
pamela_ybc posted www.malaysianfoodie.com 997 ReviewsSerai Platter (RM 25). The fluffy white rice which is infussed with the lemongrass brought us with the aromatic blend. Served together with the h honey squid, fresh acar, juicy fried chicken, and oxtail asam pedas. It’s so delicious and the blend is such a heaven. The chicken is well marinated and it’s meat is juicy and tender
The Porki Society
Its similar to the boat noodles concept but this one, with those authentic Thai fllavor and truly yum with the chilli dipping sauce.
posted muntalksfood.blogspot.comBBQ pork rice set lunch which includes a cup of lemongrass drink at MYR12.90++ (6% service charge and 6% GST) which is MYR14.50 nett. Even without the dipping sauce, the BBQ pork is very tasty, not too salty, not too sweet but very flavourful. I kept almost all the pork and half the rice in my trusted container for my spouse to try.

My Elephant
The Thai restaurant was dimly lit and along with pretty candles that created an idealistic and dreamy atmosphere, we find it romantic :) Suitable for an evening party catered for conversations! Tables were adorned with daisies and glasses wrapped up beautifully with banana leafs. Elephant icons such as paintings and toys were also found smartening up the place. They only serve set lunch for lunch time and ala carte only for dinner.

clockwork postedGoodWent there for Father's Day dinner, and since I have a big family, we were placed at the corner with a bigger table. About 5 minutes to getting settled down, a baby cockroach showed up. We are Malaysians and don't like conflict, so we closed one eye. Soon, even more came and it was after the 5th or 6th cockroach that crawled on the table, we requested to move. Baby cockroaches can only mean that there are eggs in the wall or the creaks. If this were Australia or any other western country, the government would shut the place down. I really hope they do something about it and the worker did look quite embarrassed. Otherwise, food was good and I would go back, as long as we don't get seated in the corner again.

posted www.taufulou.com 674 ReviewsStart off with their Tom Yum Goong which has 2 levels and I was advise to try out level one instead of 2. @ RM 18. The first sip is awesome where it is pack with flavours. As you sip along, your tears will be flowing as the spiciness starts to kicks in. It is indeed spicy and I thought of going to Level 2. Love the soup texture which is slightly thicker than normal, creamy and best of all, it has the spicy sourish balance. – Recommended.

Soi 19 serve original Thai style BBQ (Thai Mookata) and steamboat (Jim Jum). Thai Mookata originated from Chiang Mai. Unlike our local steamboat, the hot pot sits on a trough burning charcoal which grills or steams the ingredients. It is similar to Bar B Q Plaza which used electronic stove.
