The rice was not lemak and lacks fragrance, the curry gravy was too diluted but the lobak and drumstick was meaty! assam prawns was so-so.

The prawn mee taste exactly like the one we had in Penang. The Lum Mee also taste as the Penang style but the sambal is different. The asam laksa is a must try.

The taste was ok and the service was acceptable. How much you pay depends on what you choose to eat.

Chicken tomyam, about RM10, the soup base is nice. I thought by default they would give us the seafood tomyam, turns out only chicken in it.

Penang Village

Penang Village was started with the intention of having good Malaysian local food & Penang Nyonya Cuisine under one roof in a friendly, comfortable & air-conditioned environment. 1st outlet was established in Desa Seri Hartamas in May 2000 while the 2nd outlet was located in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in August 2001. After a successful response in TTDI outlet, the achievement opened the door for the 3rd outlet which was placed in Subang jaya, USJ 9 & in October 2004 the 4th outlet was opened in Alamanda Putrajaya Mall.

Penang Village in my opinion is a perfect place for people that are craving for some Penang Food but would want to have it in a restaurant setting.
