Chillout, Soulout & Freakout by Pas De Nom
O & S Restaurant
The self service yong to fu stall is always pack to the brim and they are doing brisk business.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalWell, not really the best prawn mee as so many claims it to be for me. Lots of room for improvement. However, I will still eat them when I am around at Taman Paramount.
Cendol & Rojak Mustaffa
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI always find it cendol and rojak are always doing their business together and I am not really sure why there is such combination. I did not try the rojak because I am not a rojak lover myself but I will try one day surely but definitely not after my heavy lunch earlier on. As you can see the crowds, different type of people around and even office ladies are there to make sure they taste them before ending their 2nd half period in the office.
Gonbei
Japanese Restaurant located amidst a posh environment. The interior of this restaurant is superb, everything was perfectly planned and designed. There are 5 different counters in this restaurant, Sake, Robatayaki (炉端焼き), Teppanyaki (鉄板焼き), Sushi (寿司) and Tempura (天ぷら). Gonbei has the largest collection of Japanese sake and shochu in Malaysia.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalRight opposite of their restaurant is the threatening Jogoya. I wonder why they want to choose at the same place and same level and compete with each other with their buffet. Anyway, I like none of them so does not bother me much
Amarin Heavenly Thai
Amarin means "Heaven" in Thai, inspired from a land known for softness in its language and greatness in food. Amarin Heavenly Thai belongs to the same chain restaurant as Bangkok Jam, The Old SIAM, Siam Square, Good Evening Bangkok, Garage and etc. (total of 12 restaurant under the Sea Cuisine company)
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadIn my opinion, this restaurant is overly rated with their average food quality and overpriced. Their service is very poor too! I had to remind them thrice to serve my dessert and thrice to come with the bill. I have the feeling of just walking out from the restaurant at that time so they will come out with a bill immediately.Jeez...
Tony Roma's
Tony Roma’s is pretty popular overseas with its grilled to perfection ribs, seafood and steak. They also offer a wide range of burgers and sandwiches, salad and starters.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalActually I really still prefer Chilis' for a casual dining restaurant. First, the food...second, their varieties of drinks...third, everyone says so...hahaha
Kiku-Zakura
A sensational menu of Japanese food, ranging from sushi, tempura, teriyaki, udon and more.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI pretty like Kiku Zakura's restraurant design because is the only restaurant brings me the authentic Japanese Restaurant feel. The next time I visit this restaurant, I will make sure that I have the ample time to dine properly and taste my favorite Sashimi.
Ben's
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadTheir mistake in their menu is they does not single out their chef's recommendation selection. If they do that, a new customer like me will not simply choose something which are not their signature dishes. Too many dishes in the menu are very confusing so I ended up with wrong choice of dish which not just spoils my appetite but my whole night as well. Yes, I am easily become super depressed when encounter with bad food. Bad food = Bad mood.
Fullhouse
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalHonestly in my opinion, their food is pretty limited and no much choices. They are very slow in coming up with new dishes. However, they still got the crowd whom enjoy with the ambiance of the restaurant. For ambiance, Fullhouse really got the full score. But for food, Delicious got it all.
La Gomera
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadThe taste wise is not something which will lock into your mindset. You may be there for a cool gathering or just to make sure you have eaten your lunch or dinner after skipping your breakfast.
Star Cafe & Restaurant
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbGreat food, great ambiance and great service as well! Good cooperation from the staffs whom helped us bringing the cake, cut the cake and play birthday songs for us. I would prefer if all the staffs come around our tables and sing for us. That will be perfect!
Victoria Rossa English Tea Room
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalAnother amazing Afternoon Tea time for me! I am so blessed here! You have to agree with me once you dine in here that their teas and bakeries are truly astonishing awesome! Not just that! Their design...their outlook really adding their drinks and foods extra delicious somehow
TGI Friday's
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalTheir direct competitors are Chilis' and Tony Roma. Comparing with these 3 casual dining restaurants, Chllis' has its edge over all of them. The crowd already give you the best answer.
The Loaf
Now, bread to many is like a necessity, in essence the western version of rice, the carbohydrates to keep you energetic and at the same time sleepy during lunch. Here comes a new competitor, famed for its bread and so well branded that people can recognise its name despite it being hailed from Langkawi.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbApart of the Almond Leaf, basically overall scores pretty well. It is a place I will drop by next to take away some of their nice breads.
Maiu
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalAnother great experience of ala-carte buffet that I had at Maiu Japanese Buffet Restaurant. However, there are some disappointment especially the sushi. None of them is nice. I feel that there is something wrong with the rice but can't really tell what is wrong. My wild guess will be too much vinegar.
On The Table
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbIn conclusion, some of their food are superbly good but some are really disappointed us at some point. I think their main dishes are in need of some improvements. However, we enjoyed a lot because we are here not just to fill in our stomach but to share the laughter and joy together on the special date with a special someone. This is just an extremely enjoyable dinner session for all of us. Me, as the organizer can never be happier when able to see the person I invited are happy.
