Chillout, Soulout & Freakout by Pas De Nom
Marufuku Udon
Marufuku is modern Japanese casual dining. The cuisine will be totally unique as it is an udon specialty shop. We are the first and only fresh udon concept in Malaysia. The major difference is the texture of our udon.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbThis is a not a bad restaurant especially for office workers to spend their lunch session at. They have yakitori available only after 5pm which is pretty disappointing. So not much dishes to choose from during the lunch session. No service charges and no government tax will be charged and all the prices you see from the menu are nett price. Their foods are no preservatives too!
Pudu Wai Sik Kai (为食街)
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalWai Sek Kai at Pudu divided into 2 sessions which are a morning session and an evening session. Previously I have blogged on the Dai Bou Mee and Egg Custard for the morning and afternoon session. Now I will complete it with whole evening session about Wai Sek Kai.
Kiku Zakura
The restaurant serves authentic Japanese food, They have at least four outlets in the Klang Valley — 3rd floor at Mid Valley, 2nd floor of KLCC Avenue K (next to the LRT station), Jaya Shopping center at Seksyen 14, PJ, and Berjaya Times Square.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalOverall their Sashimi are not impressive but their noodles are still one of the best with soba, udon, somen and many other noodles varieties to be chosen from. This place is recommended for a luxury lunch but not suitable for a great dinner.
Harrods
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbHarrods founded by Charles Henry Harrod in 1824 from doing various of listed linen wholesale business to groceries and later becomes a retail operation selling machines, perfumes, medicine, fruit and vegetables. They have a extremely strict dress code which they will turned away patrons whom they feel they are not properly well dressed. They also did turn away soldier in uniform, scout troup, a woman with a mohawk hairstyle and even a 95kg woman. Luckily, it is not as strict as in the one at Malaysia.
Yat Beng Wor
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThis restaurant has many plus points and also has minus points too. Most of them already listed earlier. Some add on such as they do not have any real signature food for example homemade food. Most of their foods can be get from the supermarket which in short means nothing special.
Souled Out Cafe & Bar
Food here are overpriced. This place sure offers a wide variety of food & drinks to their diners; one can find from local Malaysian cuisines to Western & Asian.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThis is not a bad place for partying and some gathering. However, never try their sets which they are preparing in bulk which has turned cold in a moment. Pretty upsetting when eating cold western cuisine. I thought I am having a Japanese meal. Apart of that, I have waited for hours for them to serve the meals. Really disappointing.
Kura Japanese Restaurant 蔵
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalOnce again, it is an amazing Japanese cuisine experience at Kura Japanese Restaurant. I really enjoy every experience I had in such restaurant especially when you are served by a Japanese chef.
My Cookbook
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbOverall, this restaurant does not let me down and really live up to my expectation for the very least on what I have ordered above. As for the price, honestly, they are really expensive but I do believe they really spend their effort and time to bring out the quality of each dishes. You have to agree that their dishes are uniquely done which others has yet to learn. We just have to pay the premium for it as the reward of their effort for bringing such a delicious food to us.
Han Woo Ri Korean BBQ Restaurant
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalJapanese Cuisine is more concern on their freshness of their seafood while Korean restaurant is very depending to their own special recipe in their marinating sauce. As for this restaurant, they really do put a lot of effort in it. That is also why they always has a consistent crowd.
Hon Kee
Hon Kee 汉记靓粥 famous for their porridge.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThe best porridge I had so far is at Hon Kee Porridge which is located at Petaling Street. This place is not really new to everyone anymore as their name has been made in the TV food shows too. They have 6 outlets selling their famous porridge. The others are in a shop and much more cleaner than this one which is in an attap stall. They have started their business since 1949 and originated from Petaling Street before spreading out to other branches. The great thing is even though they start to be commercialized but their quality is still tip-top!
Restaurant Siu Siu
Surrounded by the lush greenery and sounds of crickets making love. It's like eating in a rainforest.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI am highly recommend this seafood restaurant to you all if you do not mind the price. Actually, price does not ever concern me if the serve a high quality food and make us all with a smile on our face leaving the restaurant. Rather than being served by an outrageous dishes with cheap price which makes us so cheap that we had to accept such a treatment instead.
Win Soon Fish Head Noodles
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbI really like their soup. It is very milky and full of seafood taste in it. The prawn is fresh enough to make me wanted for more.
Yati Ayam Percik
One of the most delicious Ayam Percik in the world (frozen ayam percik available for take away)
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalTheir ayam percik is so famous until it is available to buy a frozen ayam percik for take away. The restaurant is not very fancy enough to make you recognize them.
Sushi King
Sushi King is the most “omni-present” kaiten belt sushi chain in Malaysia.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadSeriously it was a terrible experience to dine in Sushi King. However, I still need to be grateful with their existence so that I able to love Japanese food.
Restoran Hoi Yin
It is the best halal curry noodle in Kuantan.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbThey are famous but they are humble. It is very essential to sustain a business nowadays. I really enjoy when they are not showing their cocky attitude when they have many customers around.
