My Elephant
The Thai restaurant was dimly lit and along with pretty candles that created an idealistic and dreamy atmosphere, we find it romantic :) Suitable for an evening party catered for conversations! Tables were adorned with daisies and glasses wrapped up beautifully with banana leafs. Elephant icons such as paintings and toys were also found smartening up the place. They only serve set lunch for lunch time and ala carte only for dinner.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsI find the Thai food just OK … Of course I have had better Thai cuizine but the convenience of location/parking (we being PJ folk ourselves) and the the affordable prices at myElephant, makes this place hard to resist for a mid-week, fuss-free, zippy, wholesome Thai dinner.
Nasi lemak San Peng
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThe flavour of the patty was good and the sauces and egg a perfect complement to the burger.
Nirwana Maju
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsWe like the banana leaf here! The food is rich, the curries spicy and the deep fried sides and veges and ‘nasi’ endless in supply.
Daikanyama Japanese Restaurant
Tasty food - worth eating, at reasonable prices.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsMy favourites of the night were the salmon with truffle oil, as well as the lamb yaki and saikoro steak, although most of it was good anyway.
Chili Espresso

Crystal Jade Restaurant
Very nice decoration and comfortable environment. Pictures tell all the stories.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThe texture of the La Mian is superb, especially the cold one(that’s my preference).
La Bodega
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsI knew I was drunk. I felt sophisticated and couldn’t pronounce it.
Kissaten Coffee and Restaurant
The restaurant has located at Jaya 1 and adopted simple white theme.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsIf this kind of coffee shop disappears in our lifetime, it will mean that people have lost as well, the time and leisure to enjoy such places. That would be a great shame.
Canton-i @ The Gardens
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsWell, surprisingly good, I was pretty bowled over by this healthy bowl of soup.
Champ’s Bistro
The food is of great quality and huge portion.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsDeep Fried Bacon. Caramelized, crunchy and glazed.. we love this with our beer on a hot, afternoon out.

Hakka Republic
Not many flaws i could identify really, even if i had to fork out the money to eat the above (yes i ate for well, free). Mains aren't over the roof top prices with decent portions. Looking forward to their degustation menu which is going to feature soon and plenty of chilling sessions while tasting their "on the tap" wines.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThe Steamed Wagyu was exquisite and the Chef’s recommendation of the Black Cod in Miso which was incredibly delicious. Hakka Republic has an outstanding selection of Italian wines and all in all, for what it is, the meal was really affordable.
Peter’s Pork Noodles

CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsUncle Ong’s nasi lemak is really Nasi Kandar with a twist! The selection of food is laid out before the hungry eater in all its glorious, greasy splendor.
