After a movie in Pavilion, my 2 young one was hungry and they are craving for some dim sum, since we were at the upper level so we proceed to Lin Jin.
Upon entering was greeted by the staff, lead to a table and ask for the lunch menu. The staff strongly recommended the dim sum buffet and told me it worth every penny.
At times I am skeptical about buffet dim sum, is not as what it shown but the staff guarantee it will be good and keep telling I should go for the buffet dim sum.
Since it so highly recommended, I did not give much thought and agreed to take up the promotion, at first what has been order the 5 dim sum came quick fast but the size of the dim sum was small, thought is buffet so I did not bother much as long my family are feed.
Thing take a big turn after the 2nd order of 3 dim sum came, what we order after that did not came and have asked them a few times to check on in; they came back inform some of the item are finished. So I told them just give me what you have base on my order as my children’s are hungry.
Another few families came in for same buffet as well and to me horror what I asked for which they claimed is finished are being serve at the next table; so I placed another order hoping to feed my hungry children.
We waited for another ½ hr only 1 dim sum came, that was the last straw, I asked for the bill, requested to speak to the manager and told him if I knew this how they serve their patrons, I would not have taken the buffet and settle in for a normal menu; as adult we can hold the hunger but not the children.
After giving him my piece of my mind, he told me he could ask the kitchen to speed my order, I told him no point doing so as damage has been done and swear that I will never patron Li Jin.

Hmm, the LiJin Chinese Fusion Cuisine.
Went there a few times. Quite satisfy with their food and services provided.
My ratings for LiJin is 5/5 through the consideration of below aspects:
-Food (tastes – Delicious)
-Services (Staff’s attitude and manners – Good)
-Surroundings (Environment – Relaxing yet classy)
-Location (Pavilion, KL – Grand and High Class)
-Price (Cheap as in worth the price)

My favorite dishes there are the BBQ platter( Roast pork, Honey Barbequed Pork, Roasted Ribs and Chicken), it maybe an ordinary dish which can be found anywhere, even at a hawker stall, but for the satisfaction of taste, LiJin’s BBQ platter maybe one of the best in KL, i can say. Besides that, they also serve peking duck, which is one of my favorite chinese dish. LiJin serve it by slicing of the duck’s skin in front of us, wrapped it with cucumber and BBQ sauce using a thin-layer of egg pancake. The taste of it was extremely satisfying, not only the taste but also the price of it, its only rm28.80, which is very erm, suprising to me.
Last but not least to mention, their dim sum was extremely satisfying too, every single bite of it is fully filled with ingredients and served in a steaming hot condition. And you know what? They’re giving out 50% discount on dim sum during weekdays and 30% discount on weekend.
Lastly, having such a great meal at such a Grand or High-standard place (Pavilion,KL), LiJin is definitely a place which is worth paying to dine-in.
Basically, my comment on LiJin Chinese Fusion Cuisine is, “Two Thumbs up”

I went ot LiJin on Saturday monring (18/04/2009) after seeing their advertisement on local chinese newspaper on all you can et dim-sum for RM20.80++ per person, which I found it very value for money since LiJin located at a posh shopping venue. My wife, my mother in law and me took up the offer as we could not resists the temptation on all you can eat din sum and since my wife is craving for dim sum (she’s pregnant 7 + months), well LiJin it is our destination.
We reach around 11.15am and we were being served, the waitress is very helpful and very good at doing their job but there is ths one lady, I reckon is the supervisor, I think she’s having a bad day as her face was tremendous under preassure and she think that she doesn’t desrve to work on saturday, god knows why. Well we just ignore the supervisor and waiting for our dim sum. LiJin all you can eat dim sum layout is not exactly buffet style, the waitress will use the cart to scroll around each table and you get to choose what ever dim sum you prefer and there is a time limit of 2 hours per table, fine with ,me.
After waited for 15 minutes, the first steam dim sum cart came out and we select just a few because there are still many tables waiting to savour the dim sum, its inpolite to tak all the dim sum and leave non to others, so we pick at least 5-6 different types of dim sum. The food was great andf fresh, another 15 minutes came the fried dim sum stuff, we took at least 5 different varities.
This is where the horible experience starts, the steam dim sum cart stop coming and no where to be seen for 35 minutes. Only the friend dim sum cart keep coming, i reckon 3 times during thr 35 minutes ordeal. Keep in mind we had only 2 hours to eat. I can see a feel tables are getting annoyed of not getting the dim sum. Finally after 35 minutes, the second serving od steam dim sum arrived, the variety is leass then the first serving cart and we asked from the begining, any har hau (shrimp dumpling), the waitress only keep mentioned, wait. So we wait, till the time we pay our bills, there is no har kau. I calculated, 13 steam dim sum, 8 fried dim sum and one chee cheong fun is what we ate and we cannot wit for the third serving cart to arrived as we have run out of tolerant. By the time we left, their kitchen is open concept and you can see there are at least a few hundred of dim sums piling up waiting for steaming. Why?? Why no body preparing the dim sum. By now many customers already paid their bills and left with frustration.
I can see where they coming from, you have 2 hours to eat and their planning is, keep providing them with fried stuff and not the steam, do not get me wrong, this is my opinion only. RM20.80++ is not expensive and is considered cheap and vale for money but the way they interpreting is like you pay RM20.80++ per person and we don’t care since is cheap.
Word of mouth is much more poison then any complaint to the newspaper or media, so LiJin please treat your customer with what they deserve. Kindly please restructuring your all-you-can-eat buffet in an ordeal fashion as I’m sure I’m not the only customer that complaint on that day.

Once we get in, we already have a bad feeling. The table cloth was dirty and they didn’t change it since last buffet session. It was so disgusting.
Sooner, the waiter come to ask me for our drinks, he ask us want chinese tea or flower tea? Then I say “Kuk Po” 菊潽, he immediately says “Kuk Po” is mixed from Crysanthemum and Pu Er thus will charged for Flower Tea price….sigh….i have choose Pu Er….
The egg tarts was 1st been pulled over to our table for us to choose, and some “Fried Lobak” 炒萝卜糕, we have order 1 each and start eating…OH MY GOD…the egg tart NO egg smell, the fried lobak NO lobak smell…DAMN, i feel like wana leave the place immediately but have no choice…perhaps steam dim sum will alot better…
We wait wait wait…after 15 minutes only the steam dim sum was pulled over to our table…I look around…the dim sum options was like “YUCKY” Trust me, you duno how to choose (not becoz of too many choices, but is becoz all looks so TERUK!!!) I have choosen two and makan…no taste…sweat -.-’‘’
After duno how many minutes, the fried dim sum come again, and we order “Wu Kok” 芋角 and Popiah 春卷 this time…both was so dissapointing…taste only OILY and so “yesterday” 过夜...
Me and my sis starts to complain and the customer around was looks so dissapointing as well. After i guess ; 30 minutes only the steam dim sum comes again for us to choose. This time the dim sum was exactly the SAME as previous but they add SAUCE on it….i’m totaly speechless…have no choice, gona choose as we’ve paid!!!
I was so so so dissapointed with this LiJin Chinese Cuisine 丽晶海鲜酒楼 at Pavilion KL. Please la, even though is buffet at RM 20.88 per pax…you can treat your customer like this…have you even tried a dim sum restaurant that NO HAR GAO 虾饺 ,NO CHICKEN PAW 鸡脚,NO SPARE RIBS 排骨 and even the SIEW MAI 烧卖 (taste like shit!!!) also available like 20 minutes before 5pm…
LiJin Chinese Cuisine 丽晶海鲜酒楼 is sucks!!! 无良奸商 !!!
Dont ever try their food. Yucks~~~
