TEN Japanese Fine Dining
The sushi and sashimi at Ten is the best in KL by far!
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsFinish with the super smooth and creamy Japanese styled cream brûlée and a call it a night. Ten, is as close as you will get, to a perfect 10 in my books!
Shuraku
One of the very few Izakayas around in Kuala Lumpur, Shuraku is an unpretentious, cozy, hidden gem, a favourite among the Japanese community and locals alike. Izakayas; Japanese pubs that serve food as sharing plates to accompany the drinks, are popular for after-work drinking. The sister outlet to the more bold and adventurous Daikanyama at Changkat Bukit Bintang, Shuraku takes a more mellow approach to it's offering. Employing traditional Japanese cuisine methods to deliver authentic dishes to match the range of Japanese sakes; nihonshu, shochu & umeshu as well as beers and traditional Japanese cocktails, that fill you up at family dinners or as you kick back and let loose with friends. Housed on the 2nd floor of a nondescript shoplot in Solaris Mont Kiara, Shuraku plays brilliantly with space, from the yakibar to the outdoor balcony, there's definitely a nook to suit your liking, mood and style.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsOf course, it’s not just a manically friendly atmosphere or semi-secret slice of “Japan” they’re after, the food rocks, too.
MARU Restaurant
Which is great, for you’ll get privacy, plus any ruckus you make with your gang of dining partners will be “contained” within the thin walls.
Zakuro Japanese Restaurant
