The Tandoori House
This place has been here for a very long time, probably since my childhood days. It is a cosy, quiet place, lots of beautiful Indian arts and decor. Friendly waiters and good service. A place I love going when I want to enjoy real Indian food. This is my second time here and I would definitely come back.

miracle4dream posted www.paupaudreamland.com 87 ReviewsExceptionalThe environment are very spacious and comfy. There are two sections for dining, that is Tatami area and normal dining area. It is really a nice ambiance for a calming dining after an exhausted day.The combination of the sauce below is for the JiaoZi (dumpling). I love to dip the dumpling into the soy sauce & vinegar with ginger, follow by the chili oil. It makes the dumpling even better taste.

Lau Yew is a quite big sized hawker centre located in the town. The stall is managed by a couple of husband and wife. Business was good from my observation.. orders were coming in quite often.
Eastern Station Restaurant
The restaurant itself is quite small actually, but nicely designed. I especially like the transparent kitchen where you can look into what the chefs are doing.

This corner lot coffee shop on the busy Gottlieb Road is well known for its Assam Laksa. Besides that we also got to try out the food from the other stalls.
Ghee Hiang
"Ghee Hiang...since 1856...its been a tradition." A Malaysian brandname built over a period nearing 150 years through careful nurturing, sound customer commitment and experience. We pride ourselves in handing down our century old (Fujian, China) recipes and trademarks in freshly baked biscuits, pastries and the art of sesame seed oil production. Amongst our many other biscuits and pastries, we originated Penang's first "Tau Sar Pneah"(Green Bean Paste Pastry) which till today, we are still famous and unique in its taste, although frequently copied but not matched by our competitors. Likewise our sesame seed oil have enjoyed rich traditions and successes true to the fact its a leading brandname in the culinary world, chefs and restaurateurs can attest to it.
