Buku Tiga Lima and Burp and Giggles
If anyone is up for some cafe hopping in Ipoh, we'd advise not to rule out Buku Tiga Lima. Not only does the name rings your curiosity bells, the place itself is so inviting and captivating and not to mention, the food and coffees are sublime.

Yuk Sou Hin (玉壽軒)
The meal was complete with a nourishing dessert that's both sweet and healthy. Kingsley and I loved the glutinous dumpling which was utterly smooth and soft, melting in the mouth upon each bite.

At 3328, it seemed that they could do no wrong with their endless list of recommendations. But if you’re a first timer like myself, then try a dish cooked with their fresh snakehead fish (ikan haruan or sang yue).

Both the wanton noodles and nasi lemak fared moderately well, although did not have that WOW factor associated with say, wanton noodles from my favourite stall at Comeson or nasi lemak from …. erm, can’t think of one superb version in Ipoh.
