Delicious
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsOne of the great places for desserts.
Robson Heights Seafood Restaurant
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsNasi Lemak Daun Pisang Robson Heights.. just follow your nose to one of the best nasi lemak stalls in KL!
Albion
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsPrawn Mango Salad looks amazing and the combination of flavours makes it a great side dish if you intend to go heavy with your main course. The grilled prawns were fresh and had a lovely flame-grilled taste to it.
Tykoh Inagiku
This fine dining Japanese restaurant situated in Menara Kuan Seng which is just next to Starhill Gallery. This is really the best Japanese restaurant in KL. They provide fresh ingredients and mostly are aired from Japan. This place is definitely restaurant for authentic Japanese cuisine. The presentation of dishes was really good and their service was speedy and attentive. The price was reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. A very authentic Japanese restaurant with fine interior and comfortable seatings.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsTykoh Inagiku has since refurbished and the place looks spanking new. It is extremely modern, but we are happy to report that the Japanese is still of excellent quality..good old fashion Japanese cuisine at its best.
Teeq Restaurant
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsTeeq has a warm, unpretentious ambiance – easy for people to mingle and talk.
Mr.Chiam Pisang Goreng & Fritters
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsWe love Mr Chiam’s goreng Pisang, and so does @ladyironchef now!
The Daily Grind
The place has a rustic feel with its red brick-wall interior.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsSome say this southern layer cake earned its name because each tantalizing bite makes you hum with delight.
Country Farm Organics
Attached to its retail outlet is a restaurant cum café that serves wholesome and organic food. After much research and preparation, the culinary team at Country Farm has creatively developed a diverse menu that consists of a wide repertoire of organic and semi-organic dishes using mostly ethnic ingredients and recipes. There is a great emphasis on producing appetizing fusion food with an 'Oriental twist' and healthy wholesome dishes because the company recognises the growing trend among the younger generation towards healthy and delicious cuisine. No processed foods but completely natural ingredients are used in Country Farm Organics’ food outlet in Bangsar. Our restaurant does not use microwave oven and all our utensils are made of stainless steel.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsHah! So my dear readers. What is your take on eating Organic? Is it really all that much better or are you mostly satisfied with picking the freshest, conventionally grown produce?
Pan Heong Restaurant
There is this place in Batu Caves with great porridge! Pan Heong, a restaurant famous for its Sang Har Hor Fun and porridge.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsPrices at Pan Heong are incredibly reasonable – we ate up a storm (double portions of everything) but it all worked out to just RM24 per head. Service was really fast but maybe because it was not a public holiday.
Ichiban Boshi Japanese Restaurant
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThe only complain and the thing I would not go back to eat is the Salmon skin. Hard instead of crispy, you can give this one a miss.
Canton-I
This is a gem in One Utama ... possibly one of my favourite non-hotel tim-sum places now .... excellent! Good service, very good food, but rather expensive. Its basically a Cantonese restaurant serving the typical Hong Kong style dishes.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 Reviews“Chee Chap Chok” (Pork intestine congee)- Heavy on the lard and extra deep fried intestine please.
Goodness Saké
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsA good, satisfying bowl of udon or better yet, cha soba.. and a quiet lunch with a couple of close friends.
Big Tree Foot (大树脚) Roadside Hawker
Ipoh’s famous “Big Tree’s Foot” (called Tai Shu Keok in Cantonese) which located at Pasir Pinji with a friend. Basically, this place is kinda dusty and untidy as it’s located by the roadside. The hawkers erected some canopies probably due to some complaints by customers that leaves falling from above.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsBig Tree Foot or ‘Tai Shu Keok’ in Cantonese has the most amazing Yong Tau Foo (YTF) I have ever eaten. As a matter of fact, this place is a ‘cannot miss’ every time I go north for work.
Kedai Kopi Ming Sing
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThis place was affectionately named “Kai Tau” – i.e. Chicken Coop by my colleagues because it was incredibly cramped and yet packed to the rafters, every work day, during lunch time.
Lung Seng Seafood Restaurant
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThe restaurant is a no-frills outlet which suits the food just fine because, with all the prawns and crabs, you just want to dig in with your fingers and lick them .. not sit in some dainty joint using silver cutlery.
