Foodie Review
Restoran Kin Kin 建记辣椒板面
A mound of thick round noodles topped with ikan bilis, chopped scallion, a wee bit of table sugar, pork sliced and chopped, and tiny cubes of cracklin', all crowned by a snow-white poached egg. Kin Kin's pan mee delivers on its promise -- ultra chewy noodles and a la jiao light on oil and heavy on slow-roasted chili flavor that elicits a sharp tingle, rather than the sort of tongue-searing burn that might overpower the dish's other tasty ingredients.
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsExceptionalAlas, my hopes of re-living the robust chili pan mee from 5 years ago were dashed when our orders arrived. Sitting on top of the noodles was an over-cooked egg! I turned my head to look at the sister and one look at the disheartened expression on her face confirmed my suspicion – hers was overcooked as well. Oh, no!...
Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodle
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsSuperbThough the ingredients here are not as generous as in Tao Xiang, they were extremely generous on the fish and the broth nevertheless was flavorful and tangy. The texture of the soup is perfect, light and slightly sour and not overwhelming with milk...
Yi Yan Congee Restaurant
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsExceptionalOne look at the menu made my jaw drop. The variety of congee available is super extensive. With choices such as Pork with Oyster Porridge, Pumpkin with Pork Porridge, Frog Porridge and etc i was scratching my head, indecisive. Also on the already crowded menu are noodles and assortments of snacks...

Keong Kee Sang Har Mee
They soak the prawn in wine - and it's so distinct that you can taste it the moment you sink your teeth into it. Absolutely, without a doubt - it's the best "sang har mee" in KL and PJ. Life Centre is over priced, PJ's Greenview is good but doesn't come close to this
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsExceptionalFirst was the signature Prawn Noodle. The four prawns, each as big as my palm were humongous. The young chef informed us they only purchase fresh prawns imported from India which they will hand-pick every morning...

Restoran Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup
One of the oldest and most original satay celup restaurant. Compared to lok lok which is dipping raw foods into hot water, this is dipping into hot peanut sauce. All the foods were stored in refrigerator to preserve the freshness. Be sure to go there early as the sauce will be recycled and recooked. If you go early, your sauce is fresh from the kitchen.
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsBadNow i know very well that Satay Celup is just an assortment of food on bamboo skewers that you select yourself from the big refrigerators then dipped inside a pot of satay sauces to cook. It’s like eating lok lok with peanut sauces. There is no grilled meat involved...
Jonker 88
One of the famous Cendol stall located at Jonker Street. This shop is famous for its environment which decorated by plenty of archeology artifacts displayed on the wall display. Furthermore this shop also is been endorsed by 8TV Hochak show. But my personal opinion, I still prefer the Bibik House Cendol as it taste much much better located down the road.
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsSuperbWhat i can tell you is that the crowd is amazing. Given that the quaint little shop is… well not very spacious, it is a sport itself trying to get an unoccupied table. Please be advised to get a table before you order the food else you’ll have to stand and wait with the tray of food...
