The outside implies a lot of historic connotation and claims to make them the traditional way, and seems appealing being in a historic city. Located in the heart of the historic part of town, the concept seems intriguing. Decor in the shop looks very 50s with 50s music. However, the interior, although nice, is very messy with 21st century items such as plastic containers.

To my surprised it wasn't that bad. I didn't have high hope on it as the place wasn't famous for any of their noodle. But surprisingly it's quite good and they even added extra minced pork for me without any extra payment.

Restoran B.B.Q

They are opened daily (except Sundays, if I am not mistaken) and cater for the office lunch crowd around that area - and it sure is crowded during lunch. But they are very systematic and well organized; patience will be rewarded. Good news is, they are also opened at nights, from 7pm until midnight, but no siew ngap at night. Recommend a trip there for dinner rather than trying to compete with the lunch crowd.

Business Hour closed every 1st and 3rd week of Sunday

The food was not really that awesome but the environment was just so interesting. Looking out you can see the Jalan Pahang flyover and the hustle and bustle of what city life is all about but where you are sitting, it looks like you have somehow moved back in time to days where life was slower paced.

Real rice, real sausage and real chicken. I always believe fresh and great ingredients will increase the quality of food tremendously. The chicken is tenderly cooked and almost whole bowl of rice absorbed the flavour perfectly, this is another reason I like the rice here, others usually a bit dry.

On my opinion, this claypot chicken is just over-rated, is out of my good expectation. By the way, This is truth, the portion is huge and so generous on putting ingredient.
