The Ruthless Eater by perutbesi
Tong Pak Fu 糖百府
Tong Pak Fu is clearly the homophone of Tong Pak Fu (in cantonese), a famous Ming Dynasty scholar. Fu carries the connotation of shop, Tong refers to 'Tong Shui' or dessert while Pak symbolises the blooming of different varieties and styles. The combination then brings out the message of "a dessert shop offering myriad of choices" - be it traditional or new flavours.

Restoran Soon Lee
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsSo if you're hungry and do not want to spend too much for a good plate of western food, this place is quite a good option :) You'll have to try it out for yourself to judge!
Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodle
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsInterestingly delicious fish head noodles, which isn't very "fishy" (salmon tends to have a stronger "fishy" smell). The soup base was appetizing & well-balanced in taste. Yums! Affordable too!
Humble Chef
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsReally cheap pasta, omelette, pitas - taste is acceptable although it really feels like eating at a school canteen....no frills, babeh! Hahaha...it's "cheap" food, but not entirely "value-for-money"...
I'm Spicy
Non halal, must try pork ribs.
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsFrankly, I was quite disappointed. Perhaps we didn't order their usual dishes, which many have raved about & testified that it's good (we had their lunch sets). I thought Surisit's was more flavourful & appetizing :( I'm Spicy's dishes are also more expensive than Surisit's.

perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsHere at Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya, I can dare say that what I've taste-tested for that evening was really something not to be missed (seriously!).
Surisit Thai Kopitiam
Malaysia's First Thai Kopitiam... home-styled Thai food (Non Halal) !!!!
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsGood thai food at an affordable price :)
South Seafood Restaurant
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsFresh seafood that tastes pretty good. Prices are slightly steep, especially the fish. If you're willing to spend for good food, this is quite a good place for fresh seafood; if not, there are other better options.
Home Made Fish Head Noodle
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsDecent fish head noodles although prices are slightly higher due to the location.
Wallop Pork Burger
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsGood pork burger at an acceptable price. Must try if you're a "simple pork burger" lover :)
Restoran Okay
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsPretty generous & delicious "hand-pulled" pan mee for RM5 - kept me full 'til my next meal (and I was still quite full!) Worth the money spent :)
Restoran Ipoh Road Yong Tow Foo
This Yong Tau Fo place is near Jalan Ipoh, their fare is really delicious.
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsDecent YTF, but it's kinda costly since each piece of YTF is RM1.10! The "paper wrapped chicken" was the most not-worth-eating item on the menu. I wish I noticed the price list earlier before I ordered *sigh* I just thought of trying, but it was quite disappointing.
Dave's Bistro Bar & Grill
Dave's Bistro Bar & Grill first opened its doors 10 years ago with a philosophy to create beautiful food with passion, integrity and synergizing our Asian roots with traditional French and Italian techniques. We also have an English/ French styled bar with a lush green garden filled alfresco area for customers to kick back and relax; a haven from the hustle and bustle of a shopping mall. We serve a variety of pizzas, pastas, pork offerings and most notably The World’s Best Sandwich. While much is often made of ambiance and style, we believe our food speaks for itself. So come to eat, drink, dance and indulge.
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsAs mentioned by most patrons of Dave's Bistro, the food here is worthy of praise & recommendation.
