It has more than 60 years of history. This is a nice air-conditioned little shop located near Pudu Bus Station and Chinatown that serves Beef balls in soup with wantan-stylenoodles topped with minced pork meat. They have been in operations for a long time and are quite famous… having been reviewed by many others.

The Sarawak laksa served here is a family recipe, and that many of her ingredients are flown in from Sarawak. I believe this laksa is the coconut-less variety, but what make it special is the flavour which is fragrant yet isn't too hot. The garnishing done by this Aunty is truly special, 'hotel quality'

Word has it that his father learnt the skills from one Chan Fatt Kam, who in turn learned the skills from a mainland Chinese who came to Malaya before World War 2. The name San Jian Zhuang was said to have been the referral point to this famous pork ball noodles sold during the days of Chan Fatt Kam at Jalan Silang and hence, the pork balls became synonymous with the pork balls.
