It's not the best Nasi Lemak that I've eaten but it's good due to other reasons - it's piping hot, it's reasonably priced for that little hill, the joy of eating this with some seriously good Teh Tarik and with friends and last but not least, it's just a Malaysian thing!

Nasi lemak from Gerai Yati had our vote. Spicy sambal with hint of sweetness, half hard boiled egg and hot coconut based rice was a saviour to our cravings.

One of their selling point is the fresh steamed nasi lemak which is so hot that there is smoke coming out of it. The sambal was nice and not that spicy. Fresh cooked anchovies and peanuts which is so important.

This is one of my favorite nasi lemak stall other than the SS2 opposite the police station. (Rating 4.0 out of 5.0)
