This restaurant is near to Mahkota Medical Centre; and opposite of the main road from Allianz Insurance. Although named Taman Melaka Raya, this is NOT within the vicinity of the area with Ole Sayang, Bibik Neo and Nyonya Makko. Instead, this is across the main road Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz (towards the Straits of Malacca), same side as Holiday Inn Melaka.

By the time we finished our meal, the place was already packed to the brim. One point to note though; allocate enough time for the cooking and don’t come when you’re half crawling on the floors; all famished and weak. But if you are ready for a memorable Nyonya feast, then Amy Heritage Nyonya Cuisine may just be your preferred choice too.

Exceptional

Amy Koh, the proprietor of this nyonya restaurant, is a Malaccan Nyonya (duh!) who have inherited the cooking skills from her great grandparents, grandparents and parents. she only started this business upon retirement as a dental nurse. the interior is simple and minimal. paper cutting and framed awards on the wall. she was even invited by United Nations (!!!) as a guest cook for the Malaysian Food Festival few years back.

Love Antie Amy and also her food. Our best and most frequent Nyonya restaurant in Melaka. We had recommended countless of friends and guests to this place. Sambal Jantung Pisang rocks. Love the Ikan Chili Garam and Chicken Pongteh too. Reservations is really necessary esp on weekend & Public Holidays. Closed on Monday... Same row with Alliance Bank in Melaka Raya. Visible from the main road.
