Restoran Jaya Seberang Jaya
Lovely thosai with the tongue burning red chutney
Sha postedBadThe customer service was terrible. We had to go to the counter and place our orders. To make matters worse the cashier asked us to go and find a waiter to check whether the banana leaf rice we that we want to order is available. Almost all waiters there are very rude including the cashier.
Passions of Kerala Restaurant
If banana leaf cuisine is your weakness, be sure not to miss out Passions of Kerala for the ultimate south Indian food experience. Opened in year 2000 by joint owners, Mr. Gary Nair and Mr. Achuthan Nair, the place is run by Mr. Murly Nair. It is actually a branch from Restaurant Innira’s (name had also been changed to Passions of Kerala) situated in Gelugor, Penang. Passions of Kerala got its name from a type of seasonal flower called Passions that blooms right outside the restaurant and if you observe, the structure and interior of the place is made to look like a typical house in Kerala, situated in Southern India.
Kapitan's Nasi Kandar International
Cool place - just a walk away from Gurney Drive, nice environment and you can sit for hours. Good service and very reasonable price. And clean. I come here often with my colleagues for lunch and all of us love it. My sis and brother in law just came from KL and were desperate (oopsie! I meant sooooo desparate) to eat lunch at Kapitan's. They claimed a friend of theirs would come all the way to Penang just to eat at Kapitan's
Ini KARI lah
