Though the price is really affordable, but the deco and quality of food is not really up to my taste (you get what you pay for). They have a wooden boat table+chair in the restaurant, but it just doesn't "feel" right; maybe the workmanship is too rough.

Like any other Japanese restaurant, Umai-ya was layed down with wooden floors, some tatami seats and also a few VIP private rooms.

The Steamed Spare Ribs is also a tempting one. Gravy embedded firmly on the pork was flourished with deep aroma. Not bad.

Quite an interesting restaurant for pan mee, with pan mee made from golden pumpkin, which is quite good. Kam Heong pan mee have a stronger taste, and Dumpling with Laksa Soup is not bad as well. My bro and I been here long time I ago, and I ask him..

Among all the Sushi franchise, I think Sakae Sushi is something above the average.
