Foodie Review
Italiannies
Italiannies has to be one of my favourites places to eat at The Curve - it’s consistent, the portions are big, the ingredients are of good quality and the atmosphere is pretty nice.
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsItaliannies in KL has become synonymous with good Italian food, in portions that are very suitable for sharing!
Charms Cafe
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsCharms is a place we hold pretty close to our hearts.
Kelantan Delights
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsKelantan Delights was a very pleasant experience, food was good and flavours were kept rich and robust.
Melbourne Peking Duck
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsBusiness is bustling so do try to reserve a duck if you're late or risk facing disappointment!
The Grind Burger Bar
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsThe Grind is the kind of place we really want to like.
Restoran Millennium Eighty Six
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsWe also keep this place in mind for the simple weekday dinner; also for entertaining overseas relatives or friends who want a taste of local flavour! =D
Coco Tei Tokyo Japanese Cuisine
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsWe actually think the quality of food is well worth the price paid, especially for the specialty rolls. Can't wait to dine here again!
My Elephant
The Thai restaurant was dimly lit and along with pretty candles that created an idealistic and dreamy atmosphere, we find it romantic :) Suitable for an evening party catered for conversations! Tables were adorned with daisies and glasses wrapped up beautifully with banana leafs. Elephant icons such as paintings and toys were also found smartening up the place. They only serve set lunch for lunch time and ala carte only for dinner.
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsFor a safe Thai option that is suitable for meals with friends or dates, we would recommend myElephant as the right choice!
Little Heritage House,
Inspired by the rich culture of Nyonya cuisine, Little Heritage House is nicely decorated with all the heirlooms characteristic of the straits chinese, from a bygone era. There is an upstairs area as well that’s perfect for intimate functions. Here you will see a fascinating glass display of old Nyonya footwear, jewelry, relics and paraphernalia.
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsWith the prices charged, we thought it proper to expect something of higher quality or at least of larger portions. However, we're told they have set lunches which may be of more value.
Sarpino's
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsSarpino's seems to have the pizza basics down pat; a good pie dough, tasty homemade tomato pizza sauce and abundant toppings.
icook Italian Gastronomia
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsIf you're ever looking for something different to do on a Saturday morning, give this a thought! We'd certainly vouch for the professionalism of Chef Nicola, and guarantee you won't come away empty-handed.
Restoran Eight Treasure
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsThough some dishes were too salty, the food at Restoran Eight Treasure gave us a very homely feel.
Jim's Burgers and Breakfast
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsPricing too is very reasonable for the portion you're getting.
Restoran Chef Low
dropsofcontentment posted www.dropsofcontentment.com 44 ReviewsThough prices here are steeper than your usual Chinese go-to spot, but that is almost expected for the Bangsar area.
The Red Beanbag
The Red Beanbag is a modern contemporary Australian-inspired café, located in a bright and beautiful corner overlooking the Piazza at Publika, Solaris Dutamas at the front, and with a spectacular view of the Royal Palace at the back. With so much to catch your attention, you could just sit and relax here all day with a Cuppa or an Iced Chocolate prepared by our passionate baristas. A rustic square communal table placed in the middle of the café has plenty of magazines and books to while your time away as you watch our creative and hardworking kitchen crew prepare your meal. If not a fan of reading, take time to browse through our quirky interior design – splashes of red, but why? Come CHECK us out, we are NOT YOUR USUAL.
dropsofcontentment posted dropsofcontentment.blogspot.com 144 ReviewsTo sum it up, food at The Red Beanbag is generally pretty good, though they can be a bit inconsistent (like our poached eggs) especially when the orders start coming in at the peak of lunch.
