Foodie Review
Restaurant Hock Kee
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI personally find that the items served are ok... The noodles are very 'chewy' and the gravy for the loh mee was not that thick.. which was acceptable to me!
Donutes Coffee & Cake Baking
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsFound that the mocha was quite flavourful despite the 'presentation' was quite blend!
Rakuzen
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsHad a great meal!!.. ... Nice to munch!.
Coffea Roast Malaysia S/B
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsWe came across Coffea Coffee and went in after 'inhaling' the strong aroma of coffee and was attracted to it!.
LOKL Coffee Company
LOKL is a neighbourhood cafe in the historic heart of KL. We serve espressos and local coffee, hot sandwiches with a local twist, and cakes and pastries.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsThe ambiance in the cafe was very relaxing... Glad to have found such a place.
Ping Hooi Coffeeshop 檳園茶室
Go for the CKT and Lor Bak. If you still have space, go for the kuey teow th'ng.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI prefer char kuey teow that is not 'wet'. The consistency and the texture of the noodles is just right. The duck egg managed to enhance the aroma of this plate of simple char kuew teow with 3 reasonably big prawns!
Canton-i
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsALL had rice while I opted for noodles. ALL enjoyed her bowl of rice but I found that my plate of wonton noodles was a bit too salty. The duck meat was quite good, but I wished that my wonton was better. Found that it was quite dry and the filing inside was 'cold'.. hmm...
Sip & Chew
A cozy cafe for your leisure time. Chilling, relaxing, gossiping, just to name a few, literally a place to sip and chew!
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI think with that kind of 'standard'.. it's a bit overpriced!
Armenian House
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsSince I was still quite full, we shared a Tuna Sandwich, which was quite good. The bread was lightly toasted and the filing was cheesy. Although my cup of Mocha was not 'strong' but the ambiance in this cafe was so relaxing.
Kedai Kopi Ban Leong Ean
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI like the noodles served there, but it is just that I am the kind of person who loves to explore other eateries.
Kafe Heng Huat 興發茶室
Kuey Teow was fried under charcoal fire.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI think it's over-rated and over-priced for that serving of CKT.....
Kedai Kopi Seng Thor
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsMy plate of Char Kuey Teow was more like a lightly 'charred' kuey teow! The prawns were 'sweetish'. I supposed the vendor marinated it with some 'sugar' in order to enhance it's 'chewiness'. Aiyy
Pie Harbour
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI have tried their mocha last time and I loved it. But after this, I may reconsider my preference again.
Pitt Street Koay Teow Th'ng 椰腳粿條湯
Pitt Street Koay Teow Th’ng – the original Koay Teow Th’ng from Hai Oan coffee shop that located in Burmah Road. This stall was also awarded for a special award in year 2002.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI personally love the clear broth that is full of flavour. The 'fish balls' are made of mixture of fish and eels (鳗鱼), therefore you may notice that it may not be as 'bouncy' / 'chewy' as the ones made from 'ikan parang' (wolf herring aka 西刀鱼).
Restoran 77 Food Yard 美食園
Formerly known as Kwai Lock Coffeeshop
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsIt was not too wet.. i dont like my 'fried noodles' to be too wet. hehehe... (yupe I am quite particular about this).. hehehe...
