Evergreen Laurel Hotel
Overall, the environment at the Cafe is very nice and the staffs were very professional and friendly. Once you finish your food, the plates are taken almost instantly. You will never get thirsty and they fill up your drinks all the time. Food at the buffet are always replenished so it never ends.

Sakae Sushi
This is one of the 3 (I think) Sakae Sushi outlets in Penang, and I believe it is one of the most happening outlets. The interior is nicely done and service was good.
Sakae’s noodle is made of authentic green tea buckwheat and is coated with a layer of sesame dressing which blended in quite well with crispy soft shell crab.

The prices were reasonable and most important of all, the food were fresh and the noodles were of the right texture.
Pasta Zanmai
BadOrdered seafood tomato pasta which have prawns scallop and clams. However when it arrived it only have two clams a small piece of scallop (half a scallop according to the waitress) and no prawns. When I asked the waitress of that she went back to the kitchen and when came back said there... are prawns in the bowl. I dug into my bowl and said again where are the prawns. She went back to the kitchen again and came back saying the same thing again. I was quite upset with her comments like I do not know what a prawn looks like. She went back to the kitchen again and this time when she came out she offered to replace the dish. Ha! What a joke! Highly not recommended! read more

The nicest thing about Food Loft is not the wide selection or quality of the food but the restaurant’s ambience. Because it is so nicely situated, guests get a view of Gurney Drive, Tanjung Tokong and even BUtterworth from the side tables. Jurin Express Japanese Restaurant
At first glance, the new management did make some improvement on the food itself. The maki and bento sets were satisfactory. The honey green tea was quite unique as well.
