The kitchen top are adorned with different cooking ingredients, from east to west, including planting their own chili. This could depict that they emphasized on fresh ingredients very much. The first kitchen counter that greeted us was their sashimi; laying beautifully, luring us for an order.

It's well-hidden at a housing area in Sungai Chua, but it sure has a good number of patrons! The taste was good; the price was very reasonable; the service is also good; you can add soup (that comes along with more meat!) for the Lat Tang for free!!

Another mouth-watering Hock Chew creation found in Sitiawan is the “Gong Pian” biscuits. Hard and crispy on the outside, these savoury biscuits are one of the oldest favourites brought by the Hock Chew settlers from China. This shop successfully tweaked the original “Gong Pian” recipe to create what you will find sold at their shop today – biscuits stuffed with sweet “char siew” or slightly salted fried onions.

Right in the heart of KL very near to Bukit Bintang, Ah Weng Kor is easily spotted and surrounded with other food stalls. Definitely spoilt with choices to start your day with a hearty breakfast. It was just approximately 7.30am but was already crowded with local folks.
