Opened in 1975 and initally was owned by Larry Lavine before it sold to Norman Brinker in 1983 under Brinker International Inc whom specialized in food & beverage industry originated in Dallas, Texas, United States. Brinker has opened 11 other more restaurants along those years which ended either closed down or sold to another organization. Finally left with Maggiano’s Little Italy (Italian Chain Restaurant) and Chili’s Grill & Bar Restaurant. This casual dining restaurant has over 1500 restaurants in 31 countries.

Very bad service in Chillis @ KLCC.
-Impolite staff & food servicing very slow.

yeah i totally agree. they're very impolite. they didn't say thank you when we left. and they didn't even look at us. i like the food, but the service is poor.

Service sucks, big time! I was there on the 3rd day of cny 2009. There were 12 of us out of which half are children. I was with 6 children whereby the rest of the members were doing some shopping. I went in and requested for 2 tables, but there were only 1 available that can fit 6 and another high table for 4. I told the 'silly" female host that the children will take the long table 1st while take the high table while waiting for the rest of the members to arrive since another long table just right behind the child's which were about to leave. Guess what, that silly host refused my request and told me that i'm not allow to occupy the high table if i'm alone and have to share the long table with the kids! what kinda crab! no advance booking too! i made some noise telling her that i'm not sitting there for free and that i'll place order for food in order to get hold of the table. Imagine the rest of the members arrive w/o a table?? she finally send another guy idiot/host (looks like foreign worker) and he totally can't get what i wanted. Finally, an indian guy floor supervisor/manager came and have my request fulfilled. What a letdown for a place like chili's to have workers of such! I'm sure if i'm an angmoh, these donkeys will behave properly! Anyway, my sincere thanks to the supervisor/manager. Chili's mgmt, please look into this and send those useless staffs packing!

is it Halal for muslim?

very poor service. the waiter looks at us like we were some kids having no money trying to reserved a table for 3.i mean,hello,u just work there,not own the place.so we decided to enjoy the evening at the apartment.like i can afford more than that.seriously, please schooled the staffs before giving them the job.

I was with my sis at the Chilli's in Midvalley.. Ya, m a small size gurl whom people will mistood me as a scool going gurl. When the host at the reception came to us as we were looking around if there was any available tables, she looked at us with the look as if we don't have any money to dine in at that place… People, serve us with gratitude.. Not with that kinda annoying face…

if like that, better find other outlets

fagot; fyi most of restaurant in klcc not HALAL bcoz of their stubborn to get Halal certificate..and don simply call others person idiot..

they are rude because they have to work overtime/split shift everyday/ and always busy…very tired.
and they have a lot of pressure from manager

they staff only do their job
they cant seat u because they have policy"we dont seat incomplete party and no reservation"
u can imagine the waiting list can be more than 1 hours, the host will be tired to talk for 12 hours, arent they???

The host will always give u the table when they have they they offer u split table.if u agree than u can have it.
but if u dont agree then u have to wait until they have tables to be joint.

the list are called WAITING LIST
so u will have to wait for your table there if u don't want the server to skip your name.

u can't just get angry with the staff because u r not in their situation standing at the host stand to talk with a rude customer like u. u just don't get the rules as laurenhaz mention at the above, 'the do not seat incomplete parties and do not take reservation'.

Chili's Bangsar – Crowded most of the time.
Chili's KLCC – Well, I will vote that the staff do require additional hospitality training.

Should the customer say they are not happy with the service in this site..YES they should unless Chili's does not bother to improve. So people will keep enjoying Chili's good food till they realized they can have other better food and more elsewhere..

Should the staff be rude to the PATRONS because of overwork/pressure from management..? I seriously think that is an individual excuse for their own bad attitude..(alamak..this is service industry la dear. An honest smile is the key)
