The Sarawak laksa served here is a family recipe, and that many of her ingredients are flown in from Sarawak. I believe this laksa is the coconut-less variety, but what make it special is the flavour which is fragrant yet isn't too hot. The garnishing done by this Aunty is truly special, 'hotel quality'

Kueh Chap Stall
Behind some shop houses, in front of some residential houses. Quite a quiet area
Kueh Chap. This is flat noodles served in a herbly soup (not unlike bak kut teh) with tauhu pok, and all sorts of pork meat and innards.
Carpenter Street Cafe
3 Layer Teh C, Local Delights-XO Fried Rice, Sarawak Kolomee, Sarawak Laksa, Sarawak Tomato Noodle, 54 Jalan Mahsuri (Ground Floor) Bandar Bayan Baru, 11950 Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.
Serves authentic Kolo Mee and Sarawak Laksa. Aside from top recommendation, Carpenter Street also offers the less famous dishes namely Sarawak style Lo Bak, Ka Chang Ma Chicken, Ang Chow Pork and Pork Leg. Price structure is reasonable and service is prompt & friendly.
