Ode Art Cafe
I had mushroom sandwich. The bread was nice! I suspected it's ciabata from Carpenter's Daughter, but I didn't find out if my guess was right.

Allegro Cafe
So soWe had seabass spaghetti and tuna pizza. Seabass was good, pizza was so so. What was unacceptable was that the waitress placed our pizza in a dusty box when we called for takeaway. Who wants dusty pizza?

Cosans Coffee
I really wish that these cafes 'train' their barista well!. If they want to sell their coffee at a 'profitable' price, they should ensure that the quality of the cup of coffee is ensured!.

Han Woo Ri
Obviously, the place was no stranger to the neighbourhood, as it was rather crowded, and it is a huge place.

Restoran Wong Soon Kee
Very peculiarly, he only opens at about 2 pm. I arrived there on a Saturday afternoon at about 2:30 to see a long line of patrons waiting for the privilege of eating the fried chicken and the whole restaurant packed with diners. To get a table you have to get there before 2 pm.
I highly recommended this place to eat if you stand a chance to go nearby that area.

bkfast, coffee & more
posted 10 years ago eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comI first chanced upon this café when I saw it on the list of vulcanpost's "6 Weird Names of Actual Cafes in the Klang Valley". I'm not sure if the name was selected on purpose (with a cheeky double meaning *wink wink*) but I read (in the Star papers) that the owners explained that someon...e suggested "morning" and the café has a wooden interior...and that's how the name came to be. In fact, the cheeky names extend to their menu too (as you'll see later). read more
Belanga
BadThere are some other restaurants serving better kelantanese foods. We always had experience when coming to the restaurants. The customers in here; well mostly kelantanese, and everytime we go, they are always kelantan people laughing and talking so loudly in their language like as thoug...h this is their negeri! This is Selangor okay ya makciks, please don't talk so loud and laugh like a bunch of hyenas. It's really ugly and plus you wearing tudung labuh please behave! There are other customers who would like to eat peacefully. read more

Kafe B&N (Ben & Nick's Diner)
I like this little place; a corner shop with outdoor and indoor dining. There aren't many tables in the restaurant, but the environment was very cosy and warm as if you are in your grandma's house.

Khrua Thai
Overall, the sweetness wasn't too overpowering but adequate to fix my craving for it. Absolutely recommended!

JM Bariani House
JM BARIANI HOUSE started rather quietly in the early 1980s when Jamilah and her husband Mustapa decided to start a food catering business. The couple from Muar set up a kitchen in SS18 Subang Jaya and soon discovered their friends and other Johor folk were requesting for their bariani more regularly.... JM Bariani House opened in 1995 to cater to this need. Since then, it has become a hub in the KL-PJ area for genuine Johor bariani and other southern Malay specialities. Today, the couple in their sixties has left the running of the business to three sons who are equally passionate about Johor food. I would say that this is a simpler and less spicy version of the 'briyani' aka Johor bariani. It seems this dish originated in Singapore where there was a cross-cultural mix of Muslim cooking traditions from places such as Middle East, Indonesia and India! read more

One of my favourite is Sour & Spicy Vegetable (Small) @ RM 6. Its sour enough with mild spicy, enough to entice your tongue and it was gone within seconds.
