My Elephant
My Elephant which had also won several of awards including the winner of Time Out KL.
d_luaz postedSuperbAlways a nice place to have Thai food, though my parents disapprove of the slightly salty tom yam and the drinks being too sweet, and the price tag. Then again, I have yet to find a better Thai restaurant :)
Go Thai Thai Restaurant
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsWhile the food at Go Thai was satisfying, the same couldn’t be said for the drinks and desserts we had. Both their Thai milk tea and red ruby tasted way too diluted and simply wasn’t sweet enough.
Battery Acid Club
summerkid posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsDo drop by at Battery Acid Club when you are nearby Damansara Utama. Definitely a noteworthy one-stop-center where art, designers talk, creative retail, coffee, desserts meet. Or to say, more than that.
Bavarian Bierhaus
The restaurant is famous for its German beer (bierhaus means beer house) and pork knuckles.
goldfries posted www.buurps.com 138 ReviewsNo sexy German beer lady around but rest assured you’re in for some good food here.
Restoran Taiping Lang (太平人之美飨)
The dishes originated from Taiping, so you expect more home-cook cuisines to be served here. The ambience of the place reminds me of the olden times, with antiques of all sorts scattered around the place. It’s comfy and it really made me felt at home while enjoying my food.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsLike the ambience there, it is truly nostalgic, looking at the items on the wall.
Coca Restaurant
Its specialty is steamboat of hot pot cooking where diners do their own cooking using the ingredients provided.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsAll in all, I would say that the freshness of the seafood was undisputed.
Kedai Makanan Sinki
Fresh prawns and fish at reasonable price. The village chicken is also not too bad. Friendly staff too.
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsAll in all, Sinki serves no-frills honest home-style dishes that have stood the test of time.
Little Pantry
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI think the food served was ok, but the service then needed some improvement.
SWAG Bar & Grill
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsLocation-wise, it’s excellent in the heart of Petaling Jaya and it’s a cosy joint without losing it’s “hip” appeal – there’s certainly a lot of swag going on there!
VegeGreen Restaurant
Many of the so called vegetarian food we see cooked by hawker stalls are mostly made of oily fatty mushroom, and flour, which often are not as healthy as it should be. That is also one of the reason vegetarian food has been a big no no to me, until I came to VegeGreen.
Paradise Dynasty
summerkid posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsHad Glutinous Rice Dumplings in Fermented Rice Wine first time in Paradise Dynasty and never miss to get a bowl of this sweet soup as dessert every time we dine here. It may taste strange for some due to the fermented rice, but that is the aroma that we love.
Chuup
low.b.leong posted foodbin.blogspot.com 474 ReviewsOverall the food is commendable but needs some tweaking.
Plus One Shabu Shabu
You would be given a personal pot to enjoy the steamboat so it's really hygiene. Besides that, for those of you who are already bored with the normal kind of steamboat soup, you can now choose not only the Plain Soup and Tom Yam but they offer varieties of Soup based like Sichuan, Corriander & Preserved Egg, Chew Chow, Fish, Tomato and Beef & Tomato Soup.
perutbesi posted perutbesi.blogspot.com 230 ReviewsSliced Lamb 特级羊肉片 (RM22.00/plate) I loved these...thin & best for shabu-shabu. You'll get the variety, quality & satisfaction that many other places may not offer
Restoran Kong Sai
Motormouth posted www.j2kfm.com 552 ReviewsThe other dishes worth mentioning include Guangxi Stuffed Tofu Balls, Curry Pork Ribs (finished on that evening), Pig’s Stomach Pepper Soup and various Chinese dishes that will keep drawing you back to the restaurant.
