It serves yam rice, preserved salted vegetable pork soup, stew soya sauce pork trotter as well as stew tofu and egg. Not to miss out the special chili paste with thick black sauce.
Lau Yew coffee shop
Lau Yew is a quite big sized hawker centre located in the town. The stall is managed by a couple of husband and wife. Business was good from my observation.. orders were coming in quite often.

This shop among one of the oldest Teochew restaurant around town is located in Jalan Pasar (Market Street) and has been operating for over 60 years. In this chu char stall their signature dish is the Teochew style steamed fish.
