Gonbei
Japanese Restaurant located amidst a posh environment. The interior of this restaurant is superb, everything was perfectly planned and designed. There are 5 different counters in this restaurant, Sake, Robatayaki (炉端焼き), Teppanyaki (鉄板焼き), Sushi (寿司) and Tempura (天ぷら). Gonbei has the largest collection of Japanese sake and shochu in Malaysia.

Located at the same level as Jogoya Japanese Restaurant, I find Gonbei San delivers a different perspective of their buffet concept.

Taiwanese food culture is no longer a foreign meal in Kuala Lumpur nowadays given that many shops and restaurants offers a great extensive choices of Taiwan cuisines. Fong Lye Taiwanese Restaurant in The Gardens, Midvalley seems to be one my favourite hangout spots ever since.

Among all different types of stir fry salted vegetables I ever tried, the good ones are the one I tried in Penang and the ones in my hometown at Foh Chuan Restaurant, Penampang. Foh Chuan is famous for few of its signature dishes, mainly on their salted vegetables. This place is always packed especially during lunch hours.

We decided to drop by for high-tea to taste part of their delicacies. It was a quiet secluded place, next to an open padang, which makes it a great place for high-tea with the breeze blowing into our faces.
