Opened in 30th March this year, Henry has used 6 months to come up with this innovative fruit-based dishes concept and another 2 months just to fine tune the taste. That is the perseverance shown by him and the taste approved by both our stomachs.

Lin Yuan is reputable for the freshest seafood brought in from Pulau Ketam everyday and it takes 4 – 5 hours to make the soup base everyday by using tender chicken meat and quality dry seafood, no MSG or preservatives is added in the cooking process.

The Cantonese fried noodle here in Lin Yuan came out to be No. 1 favourite dish among the all dishes we tried.

What was interesting was the sauces they served which included a sesame seed sauce, a "ma-la" sauce, a "fu yi" (fermented bean curd_ sauce which I really liked and a peanut butter sauce. The peanut butter sauce helps to take the sting out of some of the "ma-la" meat.

We had a grand old time that night, we did. What’s more, when the bill came, the steamboat plus all the side dishes cost us only RM47 per head.
