Putu Piring Tengkera
the putu piring is lil’ pricey at RM 1 per piece, however, it’s worth every penny as the gula Melaka stuffed within is of good quality and in generous amount!

Lovely thosai with the tongue burning red chutney

Chanai & Chaya Cafe
Perhaps it is slightly pricier compared to apom elsewhere but the addition of egg or banana adds an interesting twist to the otherwise simple apom.

Passions of Kerala Restaurant
If banana leaf cuisine is your weakness, be sure not to miss out Passions of Kerala for the ultimate south Indian food experience. Opened in year 2000 by joint owners, Mr. Gary Nair and Mr. Achuthan Nair, the place is run by Mr. Murly Nair. It is actually a branch from Restaurant Innira’s (name had ...also been changed to Passions of Kerala) situated in Gelugor, Penang. Passions of Kerala got its name from a type of seasonal flower called Passions that blooms right outside the restaurant and if you observe, the structure and interior of the place is made to look like a typical house in Kerala, situated in Southern India.read more
I. V. Restaurant
The service there was superb and the Roti Canai was one of the best I have taken so far, crispy and flaky than most of the restaurants I have tried before. Their curry gravy was thick and pungent.
ExceptionalThe best Roti Canai i've tasted since a looooong time. They have literally 1/2 dozen roti makers at the counters just spading out these roti and they are gone within a minute. Irregardless whether anyone orders them or not. You can see see more chinese patrons than indian patrons... lo...l..... I always order a minimum of 2 roti canai (kosong is really good) and one nasi lemak and ayam goreng with teh ais.....I'll be happy like a hibernating bear The roti kosong smells authentice, not those greasy stuff u get elsewhere, crispy, well cooked, layers are well done (not lumped) and dhal... WAHH.... drooling rite now.... SERIOUSLY THE BEST ROTI CANAI - MUST TRY read more

Chennai Curry House
Indian food served in classy setting but does not break your bank.
无肉不欢的我,还是要另外点Tandoori Chicken。鸡肉有着鲜艳的红色,香气十足还带点焦香。 另外,这里的Roti Canai 也很不错。

JM Bariani House
JM BARIANI HOUSE started rather quietly in the early 1980s when Jamilah and her husband Mustapa decided to start a food catering business. The couple from Muar set up a kitchen in SS18 Subang Jaya and soon discovered their friends and other Johor folk were requesting for their bariani more regularly.... JM Bariani House opened in 1995 to cater to this need. Since then, it has become a hub in the KL-PJ area for genuine Johor bariani and other southern Malay specialities. Today, the couple in their sixties has left the running of the business to three sons who are equally passionate about Johor food. I would say that this is a simpler and less spicy version of the 'briyani' aka Johor bariani. It seems this dish originated in Singapore where there was a cross-cultural mix of Muslim cooking traditions from places such as Middle East, Indonesia and India! read more
Well, each to his/her own taste. Many people like this type of Nasi Briyani.

Restoran ZK
BadDIRTIEST RESTAURANT EVER. MOST UNHYGIENIC. REVOLTING. DO NOT VISIT. I went during August 2017. It was the most horrifying experience in my life. It was dirty, unhygienic and absolutely terrible. There was a waitress in tudung, long sleeves. She served us. We ordered their curry fish hea...d and others. The appetizers were cabbages and other vegetables but they were ALREADY COOKED and STACKED one on top of another at the side table to be given out! The plates of appetizers (wet and cooked) were stacked plate on plate! Plates were sitting on top of food! WHAT THE HELL! Then, she used her BARE hands without gloves to pick up papadoms, and put them on plates! She then served that to us! When our food was ready, she then served the curry fish head to us with her FINGERS in the curry! Also, we had fried chicken. She used her UNWASHED, BARE HANDS to chop them! I almost vomited. I have NOT seen her wash her hands. She then open a receipt book, wrote the food that we ordered, and used a calculator to calculate the total. All the whilst STILL handling food. Then, she took CASH money from us, and got us the change. She never once cleaned her hands apart from wiping them on her APRON! YA ALLAH! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! I will report to DBKL and the Health authorities soon. This place gives you diarrhea and food poisoning. I did get diarrhea that day I ate in this place. read more
