If you would want to have good Char Koay Teow, I would suggest you to Famous Ah Leng Char Koay Teow. Recently, Fly fm just awarded Ah Leng as the best Char Koay Teow in Malaysia.

Location Federal Cinema, Jalan Dato Keramat, Penang
The stall is located opposite Honolulu Café which previously is Federal Cinema (Lian Bang Cinema).
Cuisine Chinese
Ambience noisy
Food The special Char Koay Teow had additional big prawns and mantis prawn (Lai Niu Ha).
Price Average. When ordering the uncle normally will ask you do you want a normal one or a special one? The special one cost RM8, but trust me is worth it.
The standard plate is also available at RM5 each
char koay teow (RM4.50 per plate) will give you two big prawns where as the special char koay teow (RM8 per plate) gives you 4 big prawns and 2-3 pieces of mantis prawns. Add extra RM0.50 if you want duck egg char koay teow.
Special Char Koay Teow (RM8), Normal Char Koay Teow (RM4.50)
Business Hour Open from morning till afternoon around 2.30pm.
8.00 am – 2.00pm (Closed on Thursday)

This FKT had 3 big prawns and cost RM 4.50, it doesn’t look too good but taste pretty alright. Recommended.

Highly recommended if you don’t mind the price. RM5 for normal CKT or RM9 for special. The Hokkien mee stall in the same location serves very tasty Har mee too.
