Foodie Review
Luk Yu Tea House 陸羽茶館
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsIt is very quite after the lunch hour. The restaurant is still serving dim sum even it is after lunch hour. The setting of the restaurant is very Chinese style and you can choose to sit inside or outside of the restaurant.
Nadeje Cake House
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsGoodA famous mille crepe cake house in Malacca which is also listed as one of the must visit place in Malacca. I tried a few flavour such as original, milk tea, lemon cheese, caramel and rum and raisin. I did not try the lemon cheese, however, I guess it is pretty nice. The milk tea is similar to the normal milk tea drink. Besides serving cakes, this restaurant does offer main dishes and drinks too.
Pasta Zanmai
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Midvalley, I tell ya.
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsSuperbI ordered the Scallop Mushroom Pasta. Go for a small size if you order other side dishes because I feel the regular size is quite a lot. Again, the taste was quite okay. Nothing much to shout out. Prawn Tempura Pasta with Sesame Sauce. I feel this pasta is quite interesting. The amount of sesame sauce cannot be too much. This was just right. It served with two tempura prawns. However, the Teriyaki Chicken to Onsen Tamago no Pizza was a little bit on its downside. It could have been better if the egg was done to perfection. It did not flow out of the yolk like it should have, otherwise the experience would have been better.
Kedai Kopi Chung Wah
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsI do not understand why it is so famous and people must queue for this shop.
Restoran Capitol Satay
The boss will give you a FREE big prawns whenever you eat up to a certain quantity on the table. Not so sure whether still got or not. The last round I went was 2 years back.
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsThick, original and authentic satay sauce. Although, it is pricey and long hours of queuing, it is still satisfying.
Jonker 88
One of the famous Cendol stall located at Jonker Street. This shop is famous for its environment which decorated by plenty of archeology artifacts displayed on the wall display. Furthermore this shop also is been endorsed by 8TV Hochak show. But my personal opinion, I still prefer the Bibik House Cendol as it taste much much better located down the road.
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsCrowded at most of its time. Not an ideal place if you late for your lunch as you have to queue and wait for a seat. The shop is very small.
Ah Cheng Laksa
Taste like Penang Laksa
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsGoodAn authentic local food. The Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang is really nice, authentic. The nasi lemak is very aromatic with their sambal, It comes with half of the boiled egg and anchovies. The sambal is not spicy, the rendang ayam is tasteful and I get the drumstick.
Ah Cheng Laksa
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsWorth to try their nasi lemak and assam laksa.
Urbean
Urban kitchen and coffee house located beside KLCC LRT station. Incredible coffee by Common Man Coffee Roasters
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsGoodSpiced Latte. It is something extraordinary. The taste is acceptable, with the smell of Cinnamon or other spices. If you do not prefer those spices smell, I would suggest you to drink the normal Latte or other type of coffee. The environment at this restaurant is nice and great place for chit chat. Although the cafe is quite small, it still can accommodate about 20 patrons. They do sell cakes and other main courses.

liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsGoodI chose to have Curry Chicken with Rice. It came with a fried egg and a glass of Iced Lemon Tea. The curry sauce was tasted quite okay with fried chicken. The portion may look little but it was quite filling after finished it with the drink.
Paya Serai
This Petaling Jaya restaurant's chic interior design blends mother of pearl with metallic and silver shades. The open kitchen sets a dramatic dining backdrop with sparks and flames.
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsGoodI would say, this Nasi Goreng Kampung is pretty big portion. With a piece of fried chicken, two big prawns, two sticks of satay and a fried egg on top of the fried rice, it was very filling. I quite like their fried rice, it is a little spicy, a truly Kampung style.
Sushi Zanmai
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsFood quality remains the same for me. The taste is good. The price and portion maintain reasonable.
Aunty Nat
Aunty Nat some decent Nyonya food. Not only that, having a nice setup in the restaurant helps as well.
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsIt is nice taste and authentic for all the dishes that we ordered. The portion of each dishes is generous. The services and food serving time are reasonable where the waiters are attentive to our requests.
The Library Coffee Bar
liyenz posted liyenz.wordpress.com 52 ReviewsThe overall ambiance of this coffee house was good and you could find some quiet corners.
