Fried Yam Abacus aka Fried Yam Coin is a must have when you visit Jonker Street, Malacca. It's really a perfect street food. The joy of picking up the sizzling hot, bite size yam coins into you mouth is just spot on !

Exceptional

The strarchy texture of the yam coins fried together with the black fungus brings a chewy bite to it. The combination of sweetness from the minced meat and the dried shrimps together with the garlic fragrant makes a perfect sauce ! It's finger licking GOOD !

Bah Ku Teh Teow Chew

Cuisines Chinese

Bak Kut Teh is originated by people from Hokkien. However, it has been improvised by other ethnic such as Teochew. At Melaka, I had the opportunity to taste a Bak Kut Teh in Teochew style.
