Restoran Yuen Garden
The place was packed and it looked new and clean. However, that's the extent of the positives that I can give Yuen Garden. While the dim sum looked appealling, with the proper shine and presentation to the food, the food did not taste as good as it looked.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsWell.. well.. I have to admit that I am a carnivore! hehehe.
Restoran Taiping Lang (太平人之美飨)
The dishes originated from Taiping, so you expect more home-cook cuisines to be served here. The ambience of the place reminds me of the olden times, with antiques of all sorts scattered around the place. It’s comfy and it really made me felt at home while enjoying my food.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsLike the ambience there, it is truly nostalgic, looking at the items on the wall.
Kedai Makanan Sinki
Fresh prawns and fish at reasonable price. The village chicken is also not too bad. Friendly staff too.
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsAll in all, Sinki serves no-frills honest home-style dishes that have stood the test of time.
Paradise Dynasty
summerkid posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsHad Glutinous Rice Dumplings in Fermented Rice Wine first time in Paradise Dynasty and never miss to get a bowl of this sweet soup as dessert every time we dine here. It may taste strange for some due to the fermented rice, but that is the aroma that we love.
Restoran Kong Sai
Motormouth posted www.j2kfm.com 552 ReviewsThe other dishes worth mentioning include Guangxi Stuffed Tofu Balls, Curry Pork Ribs (finished on that evening), Pig’s Stomach Pepper Soup and various Chinese dishes that will keep drawing you back to the restaurant.
KTZ 记得食
“Kee Tak Zek” @ KTZ restaurant, pronounced as “Kei Tuck Sek” in cantonese - means “Remember To Eat” is a chain of restaurants that reside in KL area. They are famous for their variety of “Thong Shui”/desserts and Dim Sum.
terence88 postedBadUnethical business operator! Found a small cockroach body in one of the 'longan' when about to finish the 红枣茶. After bringing it to the cashier, the lady boss hurried to take over the longan and tear it off, squeezing and tearing the body off into pieces and loudly told us by shouting that it is just the longan stem or seed, so speechless and helpless at the same time. Really disappointed to see such business operators nowadays, especially for a such well known one. Urging to be extra cautious when visiting this place.
Houz Warming Cafe
jkdrooling posted jkdrooling.blogspot.com 199 ReviewsWe would urge you to try the homemade soya milk as they produced it themselves. Indeed, it's very thickened and so satisfying. It's usually served unsweetened so request for more sugar if you want.
Dian Huo Xin Wo 点火心窝
Dian Huo Xin Wo 点火心窝, located right in front of LDP nearby Kelana Jaya LRT station.
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsThe first time we came to Dian Huo Xin Wo, it was still operating at their old location in SS4. I remember I was hooked on their crustacean roe soup which led me to rank them as one of my favorite steamboat restaurants in PJ. A few months later, they shifted to SS6. We dropped by for dinner recently but unfortunately, we found that not only the price had gone up, the quality had declined as well.
Ye Zi 椰子
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsUnfortunately service was inconsistent with plenty of rooms for improvement, as some staff are noticeably more attentive and alert than the rest.
Pangkor Village Seafood Restaurant (Pangkor Curry
Formerly known as Pangkor Curry Fish Head @ Ss2
kuanfoodfetish posted www.kuanfoodfetish.com 166 ReviewsBadFrom the Chili Crab and Salty Egg Crab to the recommended Kam Heong La La, it was just mediocre. The Chili Crab tasted suspiciously similar to Sweet Sour Crab, it was alright but with less oomph, Salty Egg Crab tasted bland with little crab meat...
Ampang Loke Yun Chicken Rice (安邦乐园鸡饭)
The chicken here is steamed and unlike some places where you'll get a chicken with a thick layer of skin & fat, Loke Yun uses very 'healthy' chicken. The layer of skin is very thin & the fat almost non existent. So health conscious diners will find this appealling.
posted www.applefoodees.com 229 ReviewsIt is no wonder people are still flocking to this place even after so many years. Loke Yun Chicken Rice has definitely lived up to its high standard that its founder, Mr. Pang Gui had passed on to the current generation.
Restoran Peranakan Place
Authentic Nyonya Cuisine
mum2 postedGoodThey provide set lunch which includes different either rice/noodle set, drink and dessert of the day, ranged from around RM12 to RM15, depending on the main dish that you choose. I've never tried the ala carte order though.
Restaurant Unique Seafood Subang
isaactan posted www.isaactan.net 327 ReviewsAssorted seafood are the main highlight of their buffet spread, on top of the usual Malay cuisine, complete with fragrant curry and all.
