The curry mee stall is at the Air Itam market, next to a small river. The curry mee is managed by two elderly sisters, around 60s or 70s of age.All the ingredients are put on the floor instead of any make shift stalls. Their ingredients are all cooked upfront from their home before they bring over and spread out around them.

This is really one of the ancient yet delicious curry mee in Penang. A must try whenever you are in Penang. The soup is very ‘lemak’ which is the benchmark for Penang curry mee. This curry mee serves together with special sotong chili paste. It adds the special taste to the curry mee. You can choose to have the bloody clam, ‘dou pok’ or pork blood cake. The only drawback is the limited parking space there because the stall is actually on small bridge.

Ya!! The taste indeed very very nice!!! A must try if you pay a visit to Penang… It’s very easy to go because it is near to the Kek Lok Si. Just ask the local people there about 2 Siam sister who sell curry mee, and they’ll know what you’re talking about… :D
