The masala was thick and tasty. The mutton was tender and just lovely to sink the teeth into.

So the whole lunch cost me around RM 45.00. Quite worth it I may say from the food and also service and environment of the place. It’s quite and they even have wireless in their kafe.

It turned out to be a very good recommendation as the fish head curry was indeed very good. The fish was fresh and the curry had very authentic indian curry flavour to it. There are many places that don't do that nowadays.

The rice is warm and fragrant. The sambal while a bit on the salty side is savoury and spicy and thankfully not sweet. The ikan bilis (fried anchovies) and kacang (fried ground nuts) were crispy and salty

Superb

I don't take much Starbucks nowadays, as RM 10 per pop is just too pricey compared to Old Town. But I do agree Starbucks's environment is nice and comfy, and the staff is friendly, and I think the coffee is good. You get what you pay for: premium coffee and premium environment. Valencia Macchiato (with Orange syrup): RM 13.50 for Grande. Starbucks now got this reload cards, where I agree to take one because can get 1 free coffee if I claim it online :) Reload card is great for the business, but perhaps inconvenient for non-Starbucks regular (there is always credit/money left in the card, compelling you to go back, NO!!!).

The Hainanese toast was crispy and toasted to perfection. I think they could have been more generous with the kaya and butter but then it still tasted good. The eggs were half boiled - not a quarter or three quarters but perfecty half boiled.
